~"Let you Down" by NF up there ♡~

It had been a week since I escaped camp when my "running away" thing decided to finally fail.

I was soon summond to the Olympus, more specifically, The Throne Room. I looked around in confussion. A few moments ago, I was sitting at a McDonald's table, finishing my cheeseburger, when I appeared in a room surrounded by the Olympians and, surprisingly, the cabin leaders. I was hoping I never had to see them again.

"Perseus Jackson", the Lord of Skies called. I looked up to him. Certainly, I was hoping I never had to see him again too. "We have been notified by the cabin leaders of your disappearance" He said. "But today, you were summond to define your destiny for the crimes you committed"

I barely heared what Zeus said. My attention was on my friends, or the ones who used to be. I saw Jason, Leo and Piper staring at me in disappointment, The Stolls murmuring things under their breath, Clarisse, Katie and Will talking while pointing at me and, at the end, Mark-jerk, whose arm was around my ex-girlfriend's waist. I felt tears forming at the edge of my eyes. How could they? After everything I have done for them, and for the camp, they just turn their back on me and that's it?

".. and has been accused of murder, against the mortal Paul Blofis and Sally Jackson". My body froze. What did he just say?

"What?" Is all I could answer. "My parents... ar-are dead?" I looked at the gods, especially my father. "M-Mom is dead? No.. NO! IT'S IMPOSSIBLE!" I heard my own heart rushing, my legs shaking to the point that I couldn't control them. I threw myself to the ground, grabbing my head as if I was going nuts and repeating what I just heard. It couldn't be posible. My mom... my family was dead? I refused to believe it.

I couldn't handle the tears anymore, so I let them out. I didn't care what the gods or campers would think. I slowly raised my head and stared into my father's sea-green eyes. I noticed that he wanted to cry too, but he was restraining himself.

"Father, that's impossible. Look at the demigod. I think he had just found out.", I heard Artemis saying. I directed my gaze at her, and then to Zeus. He seemed to think the same as his daughter.

"NO!" I turned around to see a very angry Mark, staring at his father. He continued to aproach him, until he was at his feet. "He's responsible! Responsible for everything! He killed his own family, who knows? Maybe we are next! He has to die!"

Some gods nodded at what that guy  had just said. I was furious. I felt my blood boiling inside of me, and my own heart was trying to find it's way out of my chest so that it would punch Mark right in the middle of his ugly face. Everything he was saying was a lie, just as what he said at camp.

"Son, your sister has a point. I can't do anything to Perseus without proof of his actions", Zeus mumbled.

"Isn't the massive blood lake at his mom's apartment enough proof!?", the idiot stated.

In that moment, Poseidon straightened. "How do you know they live in an apartment? And how do you know it's his mom's?"

Mark twitched. The little bastard had just exposed himself. "Um.. I guessed?"

"You've been there", my dad said. "You know were they live.." A look of realization hit Poseidon's face. I saw how his shocked expression turned into a raging one. But, before he could do anything, Mark grabbed his father's lightning bolt while he was distracted looking at his brother. All the gods stood up and grabbed their weapons in an aim of stoping the son of Zeus, and the last thing I saw before everything went black was the jerk who turned my friends, family and girlfriend against me pointing at me with the master bolt.

*Third Person P.O.V.*

Everyone in the room gasped in horror. No-one expected what happened next. The son of Zeus hit the son of Poseidon with the bolt, sending Percy's body acrossed the room. Everybody stood there, in shock. But the silence was broken when the twin gods ran towards the unmoving body of the demigod. Apollo bent down and rested two fingers on his neck, and, with tears threatening to fall down, he shooked his head. His twin sister bent down too, and looked at the dead body of the hero. The campers rushed next to Percy and started crying after what just happened.

Zeus took his weapon out of his son's hands and stared at him. "How dare you do that!? You killed him!" The king of the gods said, while looking straight into his son's eyes.

"It had to be done", Mark said. "Perseus was going to be an obstacle in our path, so we had to take him down someway."

Poseidon stood up and ran towards his son. He looked at him, and then turned his gaze towards Apollo, tears falling down his face.

"I-I'm sorry.", he said. "The master bolt is a powerful weapon, I-I can't..."

Everyone turned to Mark. They started yelling, calling him a traitor, among some things. Even Annabeth was screaming. The campers had betrayed Percy, but they were mad at the son of Zeus, saying that he was responsible for his death.

Suddenly, there was a scream. Everyone turned to see Artemis screaming, and Apollo with wide eyes, staring at something above. When the campers and the gods looked up, everyone gasped. The dead body of Percy Jackson was glowing, surrounded by a gold aura. It seem to be vanishing and, before anyone could notice, the body dematerialized.

No-one said anything. They just stood there incredulously. Eye-Wide and jaws hanging.

"Wh-What just happened?", Katie Gardner, daughter of Demeter asked.

Nobody answered. Nobody knew the answer. Some of them were still grieving the lost of the hero, some others were lost in their thoughts, trying to figure out the situation.

Zeus looked around, analizing everyone. His son had dissappeared. 'I will deal with him later', he thought. He was seeking for answers. He was seeking for one answer to his question: Where had Percy Jackson gone?

Suddenly, someone entered the room. Nico. The only friend Percy had left, the only one who stood there for him.

"Percy!", the son of Hades shouted in joy. He looked around grinning, looking for his cousin. But most of all, he was looking for his best friend. His grin disappeared when he saw the expressions on the others faces. "What happened? Where is Percy?".

Everyone stared at him, yet nobody had the guts to tell the boy what happened.

"What?" He asked, his gaze analizing everyone.

Zeus cleared his throat to get the attention of the boy, as no-one was going to say it. For a moment, he regreted it, after seeing the look on Nico's face, but then, he managed to say the words.

"Percy Jackson is dead".
