Chapter 9

(Mia)

"We were here first lady!" I snap and hold up a glowing hand.

"Oh really? When I came, no one was here." the girl growls. I clench my fist and a glowing arrow shoots from the back of my hand. Embedding itself in the girl's thigh. She cries out in pain and drops her bow and arrow. Jev runs over and grabs the bow and arrow. The girl falls over and breaks a china plate.

"Stop! Don't break anything else! This is my house!" Daniel screeches.

"Then why weren't you here?! At the house you so desperately love?" the girl growls and yanks out the iron arrow.

"I was busy." Daniel yells.

"Doing what? Clipping flowers?!" The girl yells.

"No! I was caught in between two places with a bitch after me!" Daniel snaps.

"To bad! You could've died there!" The girl yells back.

"How about we calm down and tell each other our names and why we're here." Kate says with a glare at everyone in the room.

"Fine. I'm Ashlynn. Happy now?" Ashlynn mumbles.

"Yes, very happy." Daniel sighs.

(Peter)

I glance over at Chloe. My wolf was getting restless.

"BUT WHY ARE YOU IN MY HOUSE!" Daniel yells.

"Because I can, and I was hungry and tired so I thought I could crash here until I was ready to leave." Ashlynn rolls her eyes and snatches her bow and arrow back from Jev.

"Well you thought wrong you idiot." Daniel grumbles.

"Whatever shorty." Ashlynn says calmly.

"I AM NOT SHORT!" Daniel growls.

"You look short to me." Ashlynn says with a hint of laughter.

"I'm 6 foot 11!" Daniel yells.

"Just shut up. Is he always like this?" Ashlynn asks Elena.

"Sadly yes he is. All the damn time too." Elena grumbles as she pulls out the knife and stabs Maybelen below her Diaphragm. Treseze walks over to Elena and heals her. Maybelen gasps and looks down at where the knife penetrated under her lungs and diaphragm.

"You bitch." Maybelen yells.

"Oops my hand slipped." Elena says. I just roll my eyes and stretch out my hand towards Chloe's. She looks down at my hand and smiles. I grab her hand and pull her along following me out of the kitchen.

"Why are we out here?" Chloe asks.

"I want to show you something." I say and gently pull Chloe to the front doors. I open the front door and I turn back and see her looking at me. I smile and walk outside with Chloe following me to the gravel road.

(Maybelen)

I pull out the knife and drop it on the floor. The knife, covered in blood, splatters on the white marble flooring. I gasp and press my hands to my stomach as I stumble out of the kitchen, up the stairs and towards a random room across from the library. I shut the door and look around. I see a queen sized bed with cream colored sheets and a giant flat screen television at the foot of the bed. There is two windows by the corner of the room with the curtains drawn shut tightly over the windows. I sit down with my back against the wall underneath the window. I had to get medical attention and fast.

(Kate)

I see that only Ashlynn, Treseze, Mia, Elena, Jev, Jeff, and Daniel are still in the kitchen.

"Does anyone know where Maybelen, Peter and Chloe went?" I ask.

"Nope. Should we go and look for them?" Ashlynn mumbles.

"I think we should. Shall we vote?" Jeff asks.

"I say yes." Jev says.

"Me too." Treseze says quietly.

"No." Elena says. "No." Daniel says.

"Hell yes!" Mia yells.

"Yes." Jeff says.

"That settles it, we're going to go and look for them." I say.

"We should split up." Jev says.

"Good idea Jev. Elena and Daniel go find Maybelen. The rest of us will look for Chloe and Peter." I say.

(Elena)

Daniel and I follow the blood trail to a room across from the library. Daniel stops in his tracks and his fangs grow into their full length. I open up the door and see Maybelen sitting on the ground underneath a window with blood covering the whole left side of her body.

"How dare you come barging into my room." Daniel yells.

"I don't care. I'm the one dying here, smart one." Maybelen growls.

"We're here to take you back to the group." I say and walk over to her. Suddenly Maybelen passes out and I start grinning like a fool. Daniel drags Maybelen's body to the kitchen and I walk out of the room and shut the door. I think Daniel can clean his own room.

(Dark)

Yes, my plan is working! While they are silently dreaming away my demon army is rising up from the fiery pits of Hell! One after the other a huge pack of lava wolves come out from the crack and run towards Daniel's house. This will be an interesting show.
