You were wandering the streets of Ballad Kentucky. A place you knew all to well and the people you could recognize just by their hair. You even traveled to many places. California, Louisiana, Michigan, New Jersey, Kansas, Florida, Arizona, and Texas. You'd visited countless states, but you have yet to hit them all. Even a small town girl like you wouldn't be able to hit that many places. So you generally located yourself to one place. At the moment you were to meet up with the hottest girl you knew. And she happened to be your bestfriend. But being her bestfriend meant she hit on every smoken hot guy. Which left you in her shadows and not even given so much as a side ways glance. You never knew why you still hung out with her, but maybe it was that voice inside telling you too. But that didn't matter because you were already at the club. It was always a club or a bar she picked And whenever you tried to pick a place she shot it down. She tried to get you out of your shell, your comfort zone. But it was not going to happen. So as soon as you walked through the doors of the club, you heard a loud squeal. You could even feel eyes on you and your friend as she rapped you in a tight jumpy hug. "Camille! Your making a scene!" You tried to pry her off but the death grip hugs she gave you weren't something to escape. If by any thought, her hugs could kill a demon if she even met one. "I don't care it's been way too long! Here have a drink!" And without being able to speak, she practically shoved the entire shot of whiskey down your throat. The burning sensation even tickling as it slid down the back of your throat. "Camille are you drunk already??" All she could do was giggle in response and sit in the corner booth. Of course you had to sit with her because god knows what her drunk ass would get her into. "So I've been sittin' here. And I've had my eyes on this real gorgeous hottie." She leaned forward to whisper but it was more like regular talk. "Tall, gorgeous, great body, and a nice perky butt. And by god his face is so...mesmerizing." Her dreamy eyes carried her to the sight she saw at the other end of the bar where a group of guys hustled pool. And when you caught sight of the guy she was talking about your jaw even dropped. Short sandy hair, strong jawline, and the muscle on his arms made you gasp. But the guy next to him with long brunette hair caught your eye. Just as dreamy as the shorter one with the sandy blonde hair. But they looked to be in the "Way out of my league" zone. "Camille. There is no way that those men will fall for you. Just look at them!" "Oh Y/N shut up. You always do this. 'Camille this. Camille that. Won't happen Camille. Impossible Camille.' But it works every time." And without warning she flung the cherry from her drink at you. Which ended up hitting you in the eye. "Ow! Are you serious?!" Rubbing your eye viscously, you could feel all eyes turn in your direction. "Oopsie." She just giggled and smiled at you. But inside you knew that she didn't care that you were hurt. Neither did she care how she hurt you, and you never knew why you stayed friends with her. "Watch and learn hun." And as she stood up she fixed her tits to look bigger and hiked her shorts up higher so that her ass hung out. But what you thought hurt because you knew it was the truth. "Slut.." all you could do was scoff as she strutted her way over hanging all over the shorter one. "I cannot believe I hang out with her." You were talking to yourself as you sat and awaited her return. But from the countless giggles from across the bar you could sense she wasn't coming back to the table for you at all. So you stood up and started in her direction. You were going to tell her you were heading home but you stopped in your tracks when you heard your name. "So who was the other chick? Your friend?" You heard a whiskey based voice but hers over powered his. "Who Y/N? Oh she's a nobody don't worry about her." and there it was, the truth. "A nobody? Is that how you see me? Are you fucking serious??" And instantly she turned to see the tears pricking your eyes. It hurt bad but it was the truth so you had no control over your emotions. Your hand even instinctively came up and slapped her across the face. "You can go to hell." Once you headed back to your seat, you could feel the shame on her face. And when you sat back down at your own table, the tall guy from earlier sat in front of you. "Hey you alright?" It was the first time anyone had asked you such a question and it touched your heart. "No not really." "Is there anything I can do for you or get you a drink?" Was he hitting on you? "That's very nice of you but, if you're trying humiliate me with getting me to think that you like me then your wrong sir cause I-" "Sam." The man had cut you off to tell you his name and he smiled at you while you took in what just happened. This was even weird for you because no guy had taken the chance to talk to you. "Well Sam. If you think that's how this is going to work then you can go somewhere else. 'Cause I'm not going to-" "It's not." Once again he had an answer for what you wanted to say. But something about this seemed wrong. "How should I know that you aren't going to humiliate me by-" "Because I'm not that heartless. Especially to someone, whom I presume, just lost their only friend." "She wasn't my only friend. I've got plenty of-" "You are a bad liar." Forget it. You slumped in your seat and sighed in defeat. Sam was right, you didn't really have friends. The funny part about it was you felt like he knew everything about you. "If you would like, I can get you out of here." When your eyes met his, they sparkled in the light. "Well Sam. We just met, you could at-least buy me a drink first." With a chuckle of his voice he got up and walked away but returned with what seemed to be two bottles of beer. "What I meant was, we could go to a quieter place like a restaurant. You seem like the quiet and shy type." Finally someone was getting to know you! "Well, I can't say that I'm a-" "Social Person." This Sam you had just met seemed to know you by the sack. He even had a thing for cutting people off it would seem. "How is it possible that we just met and you already know everything about me Sam?" You smiled and took a sip of your beer leaning forward towards him. "I guess I'm just that good. That and I use to be just like you, sometimes you just gotta take the high route out of your comfort zone." It was a wonderful feeling you had but definitely cheering. So the both of you sat talking for hours on end just enjoying each other's company. Not even having a care in the world that no one around you bothered or interrupted the conversation that you two were having. His smiles warmed your heart and his laugh just seemed to make you melt. Overall his company was the only thing you'd been enjoying this week. "So, Y/N. Where are you from?" His question almost startled you because he was the only one to ask you. You'd have never thought that someone would be this interested in you and it bedazzled you. "Uh.. Minnesota. It's where I was born and raised." "Minnesota huh? I've been there plenty of times how come I've never seen you around?" "Small town girl Sam. I don't get out much, I'm invisible to everyone I meet. I mean look around, all these women are beautiful and I'm just.. me." "What women? The only beautiful one I'm seeing is the one sitting right in front of me." His smile warmed your heart but then again it was a feeling you loved. "Are you flirting Sam?" After about the fifth time you said his name it was starting to ring like a bell. Like you'd heard it once or twice before you met the guy. "Maybe, I mean who wouldn't with such a gorgeous woman as yourself?" "Sam I'm flattered but I'm not-" "Gorgeous? If anything, your the definition of it. Your nothing like your ex friend, your smile is natural, your looks are natural. And your personality is natural, given what I've just said from what I'm looking at I don't know who would be stupid enough to ditch someone like you. And if anyone doesn't see the beauty I do, they have to be insane to think your not beautiful." Maybe he was right maybe he was wrong. But then again, no one ever treated you this way. Everything he said was just right, and it made you feel like someone cared. "So Sam, where are you from?" "Me? Just a small town state, Kansas. It's where my brother and I were born." "Weren't you raised there?" "No, my mother died and our father decided that it'd be great to continuously move around instead of settle down. But don't feel bad, stuff like that happens all the time." You just smiled at him because all he could do was reel you in. "Hey Sam? Do you think that we could go somewhere quieter?" Your smile only made his smirk grow and as you both stood up the people in the bar started to notice as it got quieter. Walking was soothing but your feet ached from walking all day and Sam noticed this. "I'm sorry I don't have a car, I normally just drive around with my brother." "No it's alright. I shouldn't have walked into town, bad on my part." "Here." And in one scoop, he had you bridal style in his arms. "S-Sam! Common I can walk I'm fine! Seriously!" The burning heat you felt on your face made your legs tingle and when he smiled, it melted your heart again. "Nah, my treat. Someone as pretty as you deserves to be pampered after what you went through to day." From the smell on his shirt, you changed your mind and let him carry you. And so, the entire walk to your house he carried you while talking much of what him and his brother do. It wasn't much of a surprise that you two got along, especially when he told you that he was a hunter like your grandfather. To be honest you were happy that the hunter life never reached you. Once you reached your house he set you down and let you unlock your door. But you weren't expecting him to shove you through the door and press you against the wall. Kissing up and down your neck causing miniature moans to escape your mouth. "S-Sam..." "Hmm.." Not even allowing your brain to process the affection and attention being brought your way.
