All the deep white crisp snow should be falling
The vibrant coloured house lights flicker bright
But there's pollution and global warming
With all that burning there's heat trapped inside
Wrapped up all warm with food by the fire
Hot chocolate, mince pies and candy canes
Writing the cards is always such a tire
Remembering the addresses and names
Tongues are stinging from all the envelopes
Run to the post box so they arrive fast
Wishing you Merry Christmas with the hopes
-This new year won't be as bad as the last
Welcome carollers in with lots of cheer
