Rachel's POV
I still can't believe Quinn of all people wants to sing a song with me in glee club. We are singing the is a man's world. It's a good song and it says that a man's world would mean nothing without a woman. It is true. I just still can't get over the Quinn part of it. Why would she really want to sing with me?
**school bell rings**
Well time for glee!
Okay here we go.
I walk in and Puck is already in there, I don't think he went to class because he is in my first period and he wasn't there. I mean that's where he was sitting yesterday. I don't think he went home since he is still in the same clothes. Wow, he took it really hard when I said I wasn't his girlfriend anymore. I really feel bad now. Just as I turned to walk to my seat Puck sees me and pulls my wrist toward him.
Puck:"I really miss you, rach. I couldn't sleep last night and after glee yesterday I didn't even go home. I have all many missed calls and texts from my mom wanting to know where I am."
Rachel:"Look Noah, I meant it when I said I love you but I also meant it when I said I'm not anyone's girlfriend until both of you, especially you, learn I am an actual person. Ok, can you do that? For me at least?"
Puck:"Okay, for you. Could you at least sit with me?"
Rachel:"No I am singing and sitting with Quinn"
Just then Quinn walks in and pulls me to the front. We have divided the song in parts for both of us.

*During the performance*
As I sing with Quinn I just look at Puck. He looks so sad when I told him that I meant it that I wasn't his girlfriend any more.

*During the middle of the preformance*
In the middle I see a tear run down Puck's face and then him get up and almost run out of the choir room. I stop singing and run after him

Puck's POV
As I hear Rachel sing, I realize she is right. Not Finn and I have not been treating her right when we had that fight about who was dating her. I feel a tear run down my cheek luckily on the side that isn't facing everybody. I don't want anyone seeing me cry so I run out. As get to the hallway and sit on a bench I hear Rachel walk up to me.
Rachel:"Can we talk?"
Puck:"Fine, about?"
Rachel:"Umm, what just happened between today and yesterday. When I said that i wasn't anyone's girlfriend I didn't think you would take it that hard. I was trying to prove a point. More to Finn than you but you took it really hard, I can tell and I just wanted to say I'm sorry."
Puck:"*with a trembling sigh* I took what you said hard because I love you. I love you and have loved you and will always love you. I know alot I people don't believe in me when it comes to anything but you are the only person that does, beisdes ny mom of course. And you don't have to apologize. If Finn and I weren't such dic-I mean jerks to you, you would of had to sing that and say what you said."
Rachel:"I love you too and I will apologize. What I said was harsh and I should of told you in a nicer way so I wouldn't have to sing with Quinn. I mean I was kind of suspicious when she sat next to me and called me her friend. I mean she's head cheerio, why would she ever want to be MY friend. I mean me?"
Puck:"Probably because it is you. You are great and if other people don't see that than that is their loss. Now how about we go back and show those people how duet is really done."
Rachel:"Of course, should we do need you now?"
I nod and we go back to the choir room.
Puck:"Uh, Mr Shue? Could Rachel and I sing something? I know Quinn and her were singing something but I think I got the message of the song."
Shue:"Of course, go ahead"

Rachel's POV
As we finish the song I look at Noah and I realize why I love him. And I turn to face the crowd a chair smacks into Noah's face and I see him drop to the floor unconscious by the piano. I hear familiar snickers and a chuckle. I can't believe those bastards.

A/N sorry this is so late. With Christmas and a new update on my computer and my new phone it had been hard to write. I tried on my new phone but I haven't downloaded the app yet so I have to go on safari to look it up. And everytime after I log in I get this cox customer thing.
