Josh wasn't hurt or offended, but he saw an opportunity. He runs into his car and goes to 7/11 to get cigarettes. The metaphor. (A/N if you haven't read this book, the metaphor is that he puts a cigarette in his mouth but doesn't light it. Or, he puts the killing thing between his teeth but doesn't let it do the killing) He walks in and grabs the cheapest brand and drives to Tyler's house. He puts a cigarette in his mouth and throws a lighter in his pocket for no reason, he wasn't actually going to smoke. He leans against the door frame trying to look as sexy as possible, then he knocks on the door, trying to figure out how to talk with the cigarette in his mouth until Tyler opens the door.
"Hey-- you did not. Josh, I was kidding."
"You said you wanted to loose your virginity to Gus, so I became him," Josh smiles a crooked smile.
"But, what if I wanted to loose my virginity to Josh Dun?"
"He'd be okay with that, I think. I don't know I'm not him." Josh says trying not to laugh.
"Well then I can't let you in, sorry but I was about to sleep anyways so yeah tell Josh I love him." Josh throws the cigarette in his pocket.
"Take me with you"
"Yay, it's Joshie! But I'm sleeping, so yeah I guess come in" Tyler Shrugs as Josh walks in. Tyler just starts walking up the stairs, by the time Josh got there Tyler was already watching Netflix curled up with blankets. Josh lays on his back and Tyler lays on his back, too.
"Copycat," Josh says into Tyler's ear and he starts to run his finger around Tyler's stomach. Tyler's stomach started to feel hollow and he blushed, his breathing getting slower.
Josh started to move his finger over Tyler's chest and running over his stomach again. "How--What are you--"
"Shhhh, quite baby," Tyler nods (Omg sugar were going down just came on) and Josh moves his finger down running over Tyler's thigh. Tyler gasped "J-Josh..." Josh for a fast second puts his finger over Tyler's mouth, and going back to Tyler's stomach starting to run his finger in circles. Tyler's breathing was very slow now, he could basically feel his cheeks heating up. Josh moved his finger down and started tracing his finger over the little bit of rim of underwear that had poked out of his jeans. He twirled his finger in one of the belt loops and tugs, making Tyler shoot up, now sitting he says,
"I refuse to even have thoughts of loosing my best friend named virginity on my birthday...I'm clishé enough" he rests his face in his hand.
"Birthday?" Josh asked, sitting up with Tyler.
"Oh, yeah it's my birthday I didn't want anything so I didn't say anything." Tyler looks to the side.
"I can't give you anything but I'll take something from you..."
"Josh-- but I'm just-- I'm not ready I guess, in only fricken eighteen,"
"Tyler, I gave my first blowjob when I was fuckin eleven," Josh laughs.
"Jesus Christ. Damn now I feel bad," Tyler lays back down and puts his face in his hands.
"Aw, baby boy don't feel bad..it was my choice though. I grew up pretty fast, most teenagers get hormones and horniness at like, 15 but I got it at eleven so, uh don't feel bad,", he laughs even more. And this time, so does Tyler.
"Then maybe I am ready, I don't know. I'm to shy to be honest..." He pauses and blushes. "That's probably it.."
"What are you saying?" Josh felt nervousness in his voice
"Whatever you want me to be saying,"
"You know what I want you to be saying so what are you saying?" He said even more nervously.
"What youre thinking is probably it,"
"Damn, how do you have so much confidence right now? What have you done with my innocent Tyler?!"
"I don't know, he left I guess"
