Chapter 7 - miss home?

Amayas P.O.V

For the rest of the week, April was very moody. Which is understandable. Mackenzie was over a lot because I don't honestly don't think we could even get this far without her.

"You know what I miss the most from Australia?" Sophie said tiredly.

It was the middle of the day but we had spent majority of last night singing Taylor swift songs with because April demanded it.

"Oooh what?" Mackenzie said excitedly. "I've never been to Australia before."

"Well I miss Milo." Sophie said. Blake nodded from where he lay with his head in Joshua's lap. April was asleep and the others where out getting food with the money Mackenzie gave them.

Mackenzie raised her eyebrow. "What's a Milo?"

"Yeah whats a Milo?" Joshua asked.

I let out a dramatic horrified gasp. "You don't know what Milo is?"

"No, what is it!"

"Well its basically a chocolate powder that flavours milk, like a hot chocolate basically." I answered.

"Riiight." Joshua nodded. "I know exactly what your talking about."

"Sounds awesome." Mackenzie said. "Tell me more!"

"Well," I glanced at Sophie. "We have Vegemite."

"I've heard of that. Isn't it a spread?" Joshua said.

"It isn't if you use the half the jar. I've seen people do that. Disgusting." Sophie shivered in disgust. "We also have fairy bread."

"Oh my goodness that sounds amazing!" Mackenzie exclaimed.

"Its sprinkles on buttered bread."

"Oh. Ew. Gross." Joshua cringed.

"It is not! Every kid had them at their party's." I argued back.

"Dude, your country's weird." Joshua said.

"I can't argue on you with that one, but fairy bread is the bomb." Sophie nodded agreeing with me.

A loud snore came from Blake. "He's drooling in my pant leg. Cute but gross." Joshua said.

"Ooh baby..dont you ever grow up...hmm." Blake mumbled before snoring again.

"He owes me new pants."

"I think I should take you all go into town tomorrow to find some more clothes." Mackenzie said. "Your ones right now are getting kinda dirty and smelly."

"Yes please! These clothes are so annoying." April said and I was suddenly remembered of her existence in the room. "Now I want you all to sing Justin bieber songs."

We all groaned in annoyance before Blake sat up and started belting out the lyrics to 'Boyfriend'.

When we where halfway through singing 'sorry', the others finally came in with lunch. Spaghetti again.

"So when will you guys be heading back to Australia?" Mackenzie asked.

Kyle paused. "What makes you think that."

"Well, ya know. Amaya and Sophie's family's are there. You think they'd wanna see them?"

"Maybe." Kyle said gruffly and the rest of the day was quiet until we had to say goodbye to Mackenzie.

But I'm back with more ideas! Kinda. Also I'm close to 600 followers :o oh God thankyou guys! So yeah sorry for the short chapter tho, I just think you guys deserves at least something for being patient.
