Chapter 8: First Day Of The Stoner Project

I walked over to Winter's lunch table outside. All the goths looked at me and Kara scowled, putting her arms around his neck.

"Mine." She growled and I rolled my eyes.

"Winter, can we talk?" It was the only time to talk to him since he wasn't in class. He pried Kara off of him and got up, leading me to his motorcycle.

”Yes?" He asked, sitting on his motorcycle, lighting a cigarette.

" I can't be your virgin sacrifice." He smirked. " I looked it up and I have you know, I'm a Christian and I know you're a Satanist."

" Cool. So find another Stoner." He blew the smoke in my face. I coughed and fanned it away.

"But I want to do you."

"Baby, everybody wants to do me." He grinned, making butterflies flutter in my stomach and giving me goosebumps.

He flicked the cigarette, and then took off his Ray Bans Aviators and adjusted his leather jacket.

This boy has swag.

He took out his black helmet from the trunk, putting it on his head.

"No Leaving. Not until you promise me to be my project.” I stopped him as he sat on his motorcycle and started it up. He pulled on his black leather fingerless gloves, flipping up the tinted shade, revealing his beautiful eyes.

"I'm not doing it. Fuck you and your future."

My closed my eyes to stop myself from crying. I needed to graduate. I can't repeat senior year. I've already sent out for my dream college. I had to find out what Winter wanted, needed.

I needed to find out what will make him say yes.

" What about your sister!?" I squeaked. "I can get her anything! Do she need anything!?"

He stared at me as something flashed through his eyes. I didn't know if I struck anything or not but hopefully I did.

".... She gets bullied every single day. She has no friends, no one there for her, and I can't do anything about it but sit back and watch. Alright, get this. If you can just be her big sister, I'll help you fool your school that I stopped being a stoner so you can graduate."

"Yes!!! Deal!"

Way better than the first deal we made.

I squealed and threw my arms around him. His head turned slowly as he threw me an icy glare.

" Don't touch me." I pulled back quickly.

"So when do you want to start?" He rolled his eyes, taking out his black iPhone 5s. I gave him my number then afterwards, we went our separate ways.

After school and balle practice, Winter texted me his address. Surprisingly it was a nice neighborhood. It didn't look as ghetto and trashy as I thought it would. I pulled over to the apartment building at the end of the neighborhood. It was light brown with a huge parking lot. I parked and walked inside the building. There was beige walls, soft white carpet, a few brown love seats surrounded by a fireplace.

A lady at a desk stared at me.

"Can I help you?"

"Yea, what number is Winter's apartment?"

"3B." I muttered a thanks and took the grand stair cases up to the third floor.

The apartments were quite nice.
