1. Dear God,
How grateful I am to thee,
How sorrowful I am to sin,
On your mighty eye may I be seen,
And please be merciful to me.
2. My little heart yearns for you,
And you alone,
Because I know that,
When I have you,
I am complete,
And free from all lethargy.
3. Please do not ignore me,
My tears, pain and dissatisfaction,
Forgive my insecurity,
But I fail to withhold my weakly humanity,
Oh! I trouble myself with the human,
That I blindly rely on him,
Submissive to every hurt he inflicts on me.
4. You know better,
Your plans the best,
Pardon my curiosity,
Spare me thy anger,
But I stupidly ask "why me? ",
Am I meant not to have a happy childhood,
Because the few good memories,
Are overlapped,
By several depressing experiences.
