A Sunday. Was it? The day that would change Joshie's life forever. It was, Atleast. Joshie was still in his bed, sleeping. Alarms were breaking off, from his phone, from his Alarm clock, anything that would irritate him. Snoozing was his goal, his everyday goal when he wakes up. a knock on the door was heard. He had awaken, still tired, rubbing his eyes as he went down the stairs still with his pajamas on. He slightly opened the door, and what he saw was a girl, a girl that would change his life forever. A beautiful girl with blue, pale eyes, curly hair, and a sweet, sweet smile. He knew that this girl would be the girl of his dreams. He opened the door, mesmerized by her lovely face, and said hi. "Hi!" Joshie said. "Who are you? Are you new in this town?" Joshie Asked with a biggest smile on his face. "Why yes, yes i am." The girl answered. "By the way, my name is Laira." She added. "Hi, Laira!" Joshie welcomed. "What brought you into my place?" He asked. "Well, you know, i'm new here, so it was time for me to make new friends." Laira said, with a sweet smile on her face. "Come in! S-sorry for my Clothes." Joshie suggested. "Oh," Laira said. "It's alright, it also happens in our village." Laira giggled, so does Joshie. Both of them continued talking inside Joshie's house when Mark, Joshie's closest friend ever since they met in the Nurturing Center, stumbled in upon the door, and knocked hurriedly with a panting voice. "Joshie!" He shouted forcefully. Joshie stood up and opened the door. "Calm down, Mark." Joshie suggested. "Something must've happened" Laira observed. Mark turned, leaning towards Joshie, there he saw Laira. "Wh-Who is sh-she?" Mark asked, stuttering. "She's new here." Joshie Answered. "And her name's Laira" He added. "Ok, now that i know h-her." Mark replied with a tired voice, then showing Joshie a newspaper. "Look," Mark said. "It's the Robinsons twins." He added. "Read the information abo-about it." Mark then passed it to Joshie, with Laira also looking curiously. Joshie began to read."-ROBINSONS TWINS LOST IN MIDST OF NEEDLELE- "Needleleaf Creek!" Laira finished. "Yeah." Joshie replied, with a melancholy voice. "We saw the overturned boat they last have ridden on in the crime scene" Mark informed. "We must go there!" Joshie said. "Come on!" Mark added. Soon they went there, with Laira following. They were near the crime scene, cars, can already be seen from a distance. They stopped ahead and went to the crime scene. The first thing they saw was Arch. The twin's most closest friend. Arch was in tears, Joshie knew the twins were the only ones he could only be with. Laira was shocked as she observed the overturned boat. She was heartbroken. But what she didn't knew was that something had happened before this day. It was Saturday, the day before the crime scene took place. At Needleleaf University, Joshie had his last meeting with the twins before the tragedy took place, Mark was still in Science class, and Laira was still in her old home in Connecticut. It also was the day when a big BANG was heard from the creek. It was an afternoon, when that happened. And everyone just thought it was a Firecracker being blown up by some highschool kids. But before that occured, Lunch. It was Lunchtime and Joshie and Mark were both together, sitting down and eating the same Lunch. Joshie was singing his own songs, too. "Hey, prom's comin'!" Mark teased. "I chose Kriscel, if you know what i mean." He smirked. "Well," Joshie said. "I decided to choose Annie." "What?!" Mark was shocked. "Yeah," Joshie replied. "I had to choose your sister, or else i'm out." He said with a grin. "Well, don't hurt her feelings." Mark said. "Your the only one she's up to for!" Marked added, with a pleasuring voice. The bell rung. The two hustled towards the door, and when they opened the door, they saw Mrs. Philips. "Boys," She groaned."One of you will have to come with me." Both of them looked at each other and bet on each other on who's going with Mrs. Philips. "Joshie." Mrs. Philips said. "Come." Mark tried to hold his laugh as Joshie took three steps forward, shaking. "Outside the school, now." She said. Mark ran away and laughed continuously until both of them went out of the school. Mrs. Philips told Joshie to get in the car, and both of them rode away. "But, i still have classes" Joshie complained. "Well, do you want to?" Mrs. Philips asked. "Well, i have Basketball tryouts this afternoon in school." Joshie said. "Don't worry." Mrs. Philips said, with a smooching voice. And drove to Needleleaf Creek. As they arrived there, they went to a spot where no one could be, and suddenly, Mrs. Philips Ripped Joshie's shirt, and began to make out. Joshie was shocked, he tried to take steps backwards but Mrs. Philips kept taking a grip on his waist. Sure, he was shocked, but it made his day, A memorable day. Afternoon had passed. It had passed with a big-BANG-in the creek. Both of them were shocked when they heard a supposed-to-be Firecracker in the distance. They knew it was important not to blow up Firecrackers when it's not an event. "Must've been a party." Joshie suggested. "No it isn't." Mrs. Philips gasped as she witnesses a piece of wood with numbers 3436 carved on it. "Whose boat is this?" She observed the piece of wood if i was part of a boat. Must be belonging to the twins. She thought. Mrs. Philips trembled in fear, she did not know what to do. Joshie knew they had to go back to the school. " We must return to the school." Joshie suggested, with this occuring, and Mrs. Philips trembling, Joshie felt something he have not yet felt a long time ago, that same feeling he felt when his mother died in her sleep. Joshie described it as Worry-No, wrong word. He tought. Still he doesn't know what word to use to describe it. Joshie helped Mrs. Philips get in the car because of her legs shaking, waving in different directions, making Joshie feel a bit Dizzy. Mrs. Philips cannot help it. With her trembling, she wouldn't be able to drive. Is this really happening? Why is this happening? Whats the purpose of this? Joshie thought. He quivered. All of the thoughts in Joshie's mind varied into one. It was usual for him, because these thoughts that he was feeling were because of the mysteries of the town. It was commonly a routine for him to feel thoughts apprehensively. He tried calling the police. "Hello?" An officer had answered the call. "I need help!" Joshie shouted in fear. "Calm down, kid. What's the problem?" The officer asked politely, as if he wanted attention; Although he had. "My teacher is pale, she can't breathe properly, you must come here fast!" He gasped. The officer gasped too, he asked the location, and Joshie told him. "Alright, pal, don't worry! Paramedics is on the way." Joshie thanked him, dropped his phone in his bag, and told Mrs. Philips that it will be fine. He then sat by Mrs. Philips, and gave her a little pat on the back. He observed with a worried face, and even before he able to talk to her, the paramedics came. Lights of blue, red, white covered his eyes, amazed. He stood out of the car, and saw the paramedics coming towards them. "It'll be fine, kid." A cold voice came through his ears. He then felt unconscious. He suddenly woke up, at the hospital. He realized it was night, and what worried him was that it was prom night. He then saw Annie by him, with a melancholy face. "Sorry, Annie." He apologized. "It's alright, better safe than sorry." Annie said with a grin. She suddenly kissed him, making him feel something, it was the same feeling. TOO much girls! Isn't one enough for you? Being a plaboy a day won't keep the bad behavior away. He pondered. He leaned his head into his pillow. "Annie, i need some rest. But it was nice seeing you." Annie agreed. Both of them then waved good-byes at each other. Joshie stood up from the hospital bed, he then packed his belongings, and headed straight home. As he headed straight home, he saw a black figure, leaping bush-to-bush. Weird. He thought. The same figure i saw on the creek. He then thought that it maybe, maybe was just an animal trying to go back into it's habitat. He observed it as the mysterious object turns into two, then into three. Joshie was . He heard the mysterious objects laugh as if they were humans. Joshie startled. He started to run, gliding towards home. And as he arrived, he quickly opened he door, and hurriedly locked it. He was unsure of what he had seen, This town was truly a mystery. He was puzzled still, and Climbed up the stairs, and laid on the bed already asleep. Energy had drained from him. Silence had taken over.
