It was the next day. And what we've known is about the tragedy of the twins. Joshie was with his new friend, Laira, and Mark. He had a mixed feeling of Anxiety and Depression. Thoughts kept coming to his mind. Humans or Objects? Objects or Criminals? He thought. Criminals? He was confused by his own thoughts. How could a random word suddenly appear in his mind? He had his first clue. He also saw Mrs. Philips, with a guilty face. He came near to her. "Mrs Philips? You look guilty. Your face tells that you are." "I'm not" She groaned. "It's j-just that," She cleared her throat and continued "It's about us. 3436, the boat number, and the twins." "Well, i'm sorry. But i weren't just us that was in the creek." Joshie said, with his confused mind. He then walked to Mark and Laira. Mrs. Philips looked at him, with a puzzled face as he walked back to them, remembering what he said just awhile ago."So many things have puzzled me." He said. Mark and Laira asked what puzzled him. "Now, i made out with Mrs. Philips an-" Mark and Laira gasped, pretending like she knows Mrs. Philips. "We'll talk about that later, but now it's about the twins." Mark said, with an angry voice, Joshie had never heard ever since The Nurturing Center. Arch walked passed through them, as if they were ghosts. Laira leaned towards the middle to see what Arch was up to, she then saw Arch wiping his tears, adding with a smirk, then disappearing mystically. Laira then leaned back, "Isn't it odd, that 'Arch' is smirking?" She asked abruptly. "What makes you say that?" Joshie asked, with a questioning face. "I saw him wiping his tears, then turned and gave me a smirk." She answered. "No, that can't be." Mark said. "Arch doesn't smirk, and he won't." Joshie added. Laira shrugged. "Looks like i'm just hallucinating." "And you will." A cold voice said. Laira shivered, as she hears a voice he hadn't heard before. "Something's chillin' me out." She said, with a quiet voice. Mark and Joshie didn't hear what she said for noise of sirens. Laira went beside them, also getting blurred out from sirens. She couldn't hear a thing. It was 10 minutes after the crime scene took place in the creek, and the three of them walked into the school door, all of them with a dejected face. And as they opened the door, the hall was empty. "Laira, are you a newstudent?" Mark asked. Laira nodded, so does the two of them. They knew the whole school was also mourning for the loss of the Robinsons twins. And the only place to mourn for a student's loss was the Main Court. They ran towards the doors, and saw no one. "Strange," Joshie said. "The hall is empty and no one is here?" "It's Sunday, remember?" Mark teased. "Still, even if it's a weekend we'll still need mourn." "Yeah, right." Mark groaned. Laira chortled a little as she watches them argue. The door suddenly opens, And all 3 of them shivered. Arch came out of the door, wearing a basketball uniform. "But the tryouts was not until next week." Joshie said. "Then why was there a tryouts yesterday?" Arch smirked again. Laira was not liking Arch. Smirking at the day of loss? She pondered. Giving Arch a puzzled face. "Who's the gal?" Arch asked. "She's new here. And her name's Laira." Joshie answered quietly. Arch looked at her, he took one step forward to greet her. "Hi, Laira." He greeted. Laira greeted back, but she was unsure of him being her friend. Laira gazed at Arch. Arch was unsure of her, too. Laira took three steps forward, with Arch taking three steps backward. Joshie and Mark were getting weirded out, they tried to stop Laira. "What are you doing?!" Mark asked quietly, "I'm going to shake his hand, i'll try to see if he's friendly enough." Laira answered back quietly. Both of them stopped, letting her go. She suddenly stops, grabs Arch's hand, and shaked his hands. Arch was really unsure of what's happening, so he stepped back, and stumbled down the door, embarassed. He then ran away, dropping a piece of paper on the floor. Joshie picked it up. He slightly unfolded it, and saw a phone number, "Call me, Mrs. Philips, with love." He read. He was shocked. Mark took the paper and read it too, also being shocked with what was written there. Laira took the paper next, and read the words. "Isn't she the same person you talked to at the crime scene?" She asked. "Yes, yes she was." Joshie answered. "Now, first you, then, Arch?!" Marked yelled. "I know, and i'm sorry," Joshie apologized. "She just pulled my shirt off, and started to kiss me!" He added. "She really is into boys." Laira said, with a pleasant voice, making Joshie feel a bit better for himself. "Yeah, she really really is." Mark said. "Come on, you two. My stomach's ordering for Milkshake." Laira said, giggling. Mark and Joshie giggled, too. So, they went hustling out of the door, racing to Joshie's favourite Ice cream parlor. They didn't know that Arch was listening behind the door, that they knew about Him and Mrs. Philips. "Oh, I'll get that milkshake for you alright." He said, laughing like a villain. He then followed them, leaping bush-to-bush. But as he was sneaking on them, Joshie looked back. He remembered what happened last night. "This is getting really strange." He said. He then turned back and continued talking to Mark and Laira. "What happened with you and Kriscel?" Joshie asked. "Best night ever." Mark answered. "Well, how about you? What happened with you last night?" Laira asked curiously. Joshie then explained what he just witnessed last night, and what he felt in that very situation. "Wow." Mark said. "It isn't unsual for strange things to happen in this town." Mark added. Joshie nodded. "It's common for me, i always get stuck in those situations." "That's why i want to know what happened to the Robinsons twins." Joshie added. Mark just nodded. Laira nodded too, but she had a feeling, a feeling of her getting fascinated by the mysteries of the town. Arch stilled followed them, until his hands got impaled on a branch. He screamed at the top of his lungs. The three of them were shocked. Mark looked at the strange-looking bush, as it was moving, like an egg cracking. He took a quick glance at the moving bush, and saw Arch, with an impaled hand. Mark screamed, too, taking the attention of nearby pedestrians. Joshie and Laira were in shock, too. They saw it. With their own eyes. Arch screamed and screamed, he kept on panting, as if he ran endlessly. Sirens from a distance was heard. Arch was in relief, though he was still in pain. He can't take it any longer, he felt he was fading away to dust. He felt, too that he will be seeing better days. But he had been disturbed as the roars of the sirens came, flashes of lights quickly fill up his eyes, blurring his vision. He had then felt unconscious as blood comes out of his hand. Joshie, Mark, and Laira just stood there, watching as the paramedics take the unconscious body of Arch, wearing his blood-stained Basketball attire. A paramedic came near to them. "I would like to ask, if you had known how the young man had his hand impaled on he branch?" "No." Mark answered. "I suppose he was trying to sneak up on us." Laira whispered to Joshie. Joshie nodded. The lady made a puzzled face, then left. "Must be a hide-and-seek type o' game." An old lady hollered. The three laughed, they always do, at that very joke, except for Laira. It was her first time hearing it. "We always fall for that joke." Joshie said whilst giggling. "It's the voice, not the joke." Mark teased. Laira had made an interested face, as if she wanted to know the wonders of this town. "Don't worry." Joshie said. "I know what you want, your face tells it." He teased. Laira laughed. She was never a negative one, neither a positive one. She was just equal-minded. Laira had a very positive feeling between the two, right at the start, when she met them. It was very quick. She likes it, though. It was getting dark. Joshie suddenly remembers what happened last night. He needed to make sure it won't happen again. "Guys," He said. "I need to head home first, you know what happened last night." Mark and Laira nodded. He then headed home, alone. Heading home alone isn't a good idea. He thought. His imagination had grown stronger, making him images of objects leaping in the distance. He knew he was hallucinating, but he grew weak. He can't even take his bag anymore. He tried to run. He did, and reached home. But, as he reached home. He felt dead unconscious at his bed. He suddenly saw Laira in his eyes. He can't even tell if he's hallucinating anymore. Laira started to take his clothes off, and kissed him. He felt that this was real. It would be the most erotic moment of his life, if it were real. Not with Mrs. Philips, though, even if he liked it. He then had fallen asleep, tired.
