We ended up back where we started...But the door we had walked through was now opened, and the card I had in my hand was gone. The three of us then walked up the flight of stairs, and we were on the next floor. This floor was just like the last one...With the same exact door up ahead.
I sighed. "Well, we need a card thingy to get through...Don't we? Or can we cheat and just keep going?"
Axel shrugged. "Who knows?"
I placed a hand on my hip before scratching my head. "Man this didn't happen in the game..." I muttered to myself.
But at that moment, I felt something thin appear in my hand. I held the object up to my face, and that's when I realized it was another card. Axel and Ven gathered around me to see what the picture was this time. I saw that it was Twilight Town. I smiled, knowing my way around there pretty well. I held the card up to give Axel and Ven a better view.
"Well?" I asked. "Are you two ready?"
They both nodded once. "Yeah." Axel said.
"Good." I approached the door and held the card high into the air. The card vanished and the door opened, and then the three of us walked inside.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Everything seemed completely normal in Twilight Town. Everyone was out and about their daily jobs and chores. But I had a feeling that the same thing may happen here, just like it did at my dream school, (if you know what I mean). Maybe everyone here will forget me as well.
Axel began to scan the area. We were obviously in the Sandlot, but Seifer and his gang were nowhere in sight. So, we agreed to explore the town a bit to see if we could maybe, just maybe, find Namine wondering around here somewhere. We then determined that we would split up, that way, we would find her more quickly. And if one of us did find her, we would use the walkie talkies that Axel had bought from a store to contact each other. Once we confirmed this, we went our separate ways.
Ven had gone to the mansion, while Axel explored the main part of the town. I was the one who would get on the train and scrutinize sunset terrance.
When I had gotten off the train, I made my way down the steps, but then I stopped in the middle of them, remembering what Rai had said in Kingdom Hearts II. He said that the steps counted differently up and down! I had tried doing that in the game while I was playing Roxas, but it's harder than it looks. So I tried it now...And Guess what? I got nothing! The steps were the same...Stupid Rai.
Instead, I kept looking around. I saw that there was no one in this part of town, which confused me, but I guessed that they all were in the main part of town doing something else. I shrugged it off and headed up the hill, which had a perfect view of the sunset!
And when I had walked up, I now know the reason why everyone wasn't at this part of town...Because sitting there, was the Twilight Thorn. I reached for the walkie talkie that was clipped onto my side, but the Twilight Thorn saw me and slapped the walkie talkie out of my hand. I then had to dodge it's attack as it tried to hit me. I did a flip in the air and landed right next to the walkie talkie. I picked it up, sighing with relief, until the Twilight Thorn came for me again, this time, a large light came from the nobody and it had engulfed me.
It seemed that I was where Roxas was when those nobodies attacked him...Right before he had to defeat the Twilight Thorn. I cursed under my breath as I grabbed the walkie talkie and pressed a button down. "Axel? Ven?" I spoke into it. "Guys? Can you hear me?" When I took my thumb off the button, all i got was static. I groaned and placed the walkie talkie back where it was before.
