Love Is In The Air

"Don't scream!" Ven yelled out to her. Instead, Kaylee just sobbed. Ven let out a low sigh of relief. The doctor realized that she hadn't screamed, so he took a few steps back and vanished into nothingness.

Ven saw that the straps around him were released. So Ven jumped up and ran to Kaylee just as the straps around her faded as well. Kaylee jumped off the table and Ven gave her a huge hug. Kaylee sighed and hugged him back.

"So....That was the trial..." Kaylee sobbed.

Ven nodded and started to stroke her hair. "Yes, but, we made it. We're free!"

Kaylee giggled and let go of him. She patted her cheeks slightly, trying to pull herself together. "So...Wait a minute!" She eyed Ventus suspiciously. "What was your fear then?"

Ven tapped his chin, trying to think about it. "Well....I guess it was..." He looked at her, slightly blushing. "Seeing you hurt, or loosing you I guess."

Kaylee folded her hands together. "Awwww. How sweet." She said with another giggle.

"Um..." Ven scratched the back of his head nervously. He blushed another shade of red, but tried to act like he wasn't embarresed at all. "Erm umm...Shouldn't we like, you know...Get out of here now?"

Kaylee looked off behind him. "I think that's already covered."

"Huh?" Ven turned around, and was suddenly swallowed by Light.

When the Light finally had faded away, Kaylee and Ven saw that they were now on another floor. They both looked at each other, and they both smiled at the exact same time. "Hey...Ven?" Kaylee asked in a quiet voice.

"Yes?"

"Do you like me?"

Ven blinked. Now that was a random question. Did he like her? Well, he did get scared when that needle was peirced in her arm...He got even more scared when she cried. So he did really care for her, obviously. But the question was, did he like her, not care for her. 

Ven stuck his finger in the collar of his shirt and pulled it outward so air could get into his shirt. "Well um..." He straightened up, deciding not to look like an idiot in front of her. "No, I don't like you." Disappointment came across Kaylee's face when he said that. She frowned and bowed her head, staying silent. Ven then just laughed. "But you never said anything about me loving you."

Kaylee lifted her head up. "Do...You love me?"

Ven did an hesitatnt nod. "Yes, I do."

Kaylee beamed and suddenly pressed her lips to his. Ven was shocked, his eyes growing wide. But then he just chuckled to himself and kissed her back, realizing that he did truely love her.

When they broke apart, they both just stared at each other for a very long time, not saying a word. But someone else broke the silence, 

"D'awwwww! Isn't that cute?"

Ven and Kaylee's head turned toward the voice. They both blushed even more when they saw Axel and I just sitting down on the floor, watching them with lots of interest. I laughed at them. "So...Which one of you is going to ask the other out?"

Kaylee pouted. "You two completely ruined the mood!" She complained.

Ven smiled nervously. "Um...Kaylee? Shouldn't we be happy that they are alive?"

I shook my head and stood up. "Why should you be happy? Axel and I should be relieved that you two aren't dead yet! You know...You were captured? Or...Kaylee was. Ven was stupid enough to go after his true love."

Ven huffed and crossed his arms. "Excuse you?"

Axel snickered. "Well, does it matter anymore? We're both together again! But anyway, Ven, go ask Kaylee out."

"HEY!"

Kaylee giggled. "Well Ven? I'm waiting..."

Ven gulped and wiped a bit of sweat from his forehead. He then straightened his back and then got down on one knee. "Wanna-"

"YES!!!!!!!!" Kaylee interupted before she tackled him to the ground.

I lifted an eyebrow, then looked up at Axel. "I never did that did I?"

Axel shrugged. "Well, you did hug me if that counts."

I smirked and watch Kaylee and Ven hug each other. "Yeah. But Ven needed roses. Anyway...." I clared my throat loudly to get the new couples attention. "All righty you rwo love birds! We need to get going! You can hold hands along the way."

Kaylee glared. "Oh fine." She pouted. Ven got to his feet then helped Kaylee up. The held hands as they followed Axel and I through the next door up ahead.
