"LOVE MODERATELY"

Chapter 1

I was running in the forest, where am i going? This probably a dream because i have never been in a forest before, i hate the smell of the soil, i hate the sound of the nature. I was chasing someone but who? A guy with gray t-shirt? Who is it my dad? No, this guy is young, WAKE UP ELISE! WAKE UP SLEEPING BEAUTY!" I opened my eyes to see the blur faces of my best friends.

I groaned enough for them to get their attention.

"Dream Intruders" I muttered. I throw my pillows and try to get back to sleep, that's when they pulled my blanket and start falling in my bed. I sat up irritated as i try to get my hair off my face.

"What is it?" I shouted.

"Are you having an amnesia or what? You just get back from London after 8 years and its your first day at school" Julie explained. Julie is my best friend since diapers, even though we have a long distance friendship, we keep updated through sns and messages, and since our families are just close we never grow apart.

I was still processing everything that she said. Wait. First day? I open my eyes widely, look at the clock then run straight to the bathroom. I fall over the pillow i just threw a while back but ignore the pain, I'm going to be late in my first day!

"Clumsy as ever" Michael chuckles.

"You only change your appearance! That's good to know, girly!" he added.

After a few minutes, I get back in my room, they're still waiting for me. I lean on the door frame, watching them as they laugh without shame. I let out a sigh.

"What's up?" is all i could say after disappearing for 8 straight years and could care less about the most true friends she ever met. They stopped whatever they talking about and look at me, Is it because I'm wearing shorts now? or because my hair is not in braids anymore?

Michael stand up and kiss me on the forehead. Last year, he called everyone attention and proclaimed that he is a gay. Well, I heard it through webcam and Julie was so embarrased, I'm just proud because I knew it ever since Jules introduced us together in first grade. And I confirmed about it because I saw him kissing a guy in the background when i was skyping with Julie, and he admitted it, there's no arguing with that matter.

"You're so beautiful now, I can barely recognize you." he commented and Julie nodded.

"What are you talking about, I just lost weight, that's it." I shrugged.

"Damn, we're complimenting you Elise, just accept it" Julie said as she hugged me. We broke the tight hug when Jenny phone rang.

"My boyfriend, He's in school. We should go too" She explained. Michael and I both agree, We get our bags and bid our goodbye to my parents. I know skipping breakfast is no good but i can't help it,this is the first time in 8 years that im going in an actual school with my old friends.

"I'm going to drive" Michael raise his hand in a cute and girly manner, it's funny seeing this on the computer screen but disgusting in real life, I laughed a little.

"No way, I'm going to drive, im less crazy than you are" Julie said as she try to get the keys with a 6"2ft guy. I remember when "who's the driver" wasn't our problem but "who is the fastest" to get to school with our little bikes.

"And out of the three of us, I quite NORMAL" I said, snatching the keys out of Michael hands and immediately get on the driver seat. They couldn't do anything but to ride, Julie's on the passengers seat while Michael is on the back seat

"But THIS IS MY CAR" Michael complained in a childish manner

"Shut up MISTER MICHAEL KRISTOPER CYLDON" I said while focusing on the road and Jules's directions
