Y/n POV "Come on y/n please come to the New Years Eve party with me!" I hear my friend Greta say. "Nah parties aren't my thing you know that Greta" "Ya I know y/n but please come with me!" I roll my eyes "Why should I Greta I know your going to go with your boyfriend and abandoned me" "I promise I won't but if I do I'll give you a 50$ gift card to what's the store called again" I sigh and say "It's called Hot Topic Greta remember that" "I will I promise" There was a moment of silence until I Greta says "..so are you going" I take a deep sigh and say "No shit Sherlock" Greta would usually be mad if I responded like that but instead she squealed , and said stuff like 'yay this is why your the best ' ' can I do your hair? Makeup? Can I pick your outfit!' To tell you the truth I wasn't even listening I was to busy watching t.v "Y/n" I sigh in annoyance "What Greta?" "Can you please stop watching stranger things it been what the fifth time you've binged watched it" "I don't care it's still and amazing show" It took Greta at least an hour trying to get me off the sofa and making me take a shower. Once I was done Greta quickly went into my closet trying to find me an outfit. It took me at least an hour convincing her that I do not want to wear a sparkly short dress. "Okay y/n I think I found your outfit!"

Once I put it on I go to the mirror to see how I look. Once I see myself I smile a Greta and thank her for helping me pick out a outfit. After that Greta goes into her room and get dressed when I see her I see that she is in a small sparkly dress. "Come y/n we have to go Nathan is here" I nod and get into the "Hey babe" I hear Greta say "Hey baby" I hear boyfriend say . I sigh sometimes I wish I could finds Mr Perfect.
Time Skip to the club Once we get out of the car I see that we are in front of a club. Once the three of us get in Greta and Nathan quickly leave me. "I fucking knew that they were going to leave me" I sigh in annoyance as I walk around I see many girls in short dress and guys grinding on them. I'm so stupid for believing Greta I could've just said no and just watch Netflix and order pizza. Sigh and get a drink. It been a good time since we have gotten here I check my phone

With that I feel a tap in my shoulder I turn around to see a pretty pale dude with purple hair. Before he could take the countdown starts 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 and with that the stranger kisses me I look at him blushing crazily "HAPPY NEW YEAR!" Me and the stranger stare at each other "Okay wow this is awkward" the stranger said "Ya pretty much" I smile and shrug "My names Awsten . Awsten Knight" with that he gives me his hand "I'm y/n . Y/n l/u" with that I give him my hand and shake it . "Guess we aren't strangers anymore" Awsten said chuckling "Ya I guess so" as I see Greta and Nathan telling me that it was time to go home "Hey your probably questioning why I kissed you" I look at Greta and tell her to go wait in the car "Ya actually" "Well I saw you standing there and you looked really pretty and when I saw everyone but you paired up I thought to myself maybe I can start the year with kissing that beautiful girl...and maybe having a date with her" he said hopeful I smile at him and kiss his cheek "I would totally love going on a date with you Awsten can I get your number" "Ya of course!" As we put our contacts on each other's phone I decide to put myself as Cute Stranger 😜💕
Once he is done we get our phones back and I make my way to Greta and Nathan's car I hear Greta say "So who were you talking a friend?" I smile and chuckle and look at my phone I see he put himself as Purple stranger 🙃💜💜
"No just some purple haired stranger " Little did y/n and Awsten know that every New Year something amazing would happen to them from getting engaged to having there first child. None of that would've ever happened if they didn't kiss when they were strangers...
