"bye mum, i'll see you at home after school!" jennie yelled from her door, slipping on her white sneakers with her bag hung loosely on her right shoulder.

"okay honey, be careful not to get caught as always, alright?"

the brunette nodded, clutching her books tightly in her arm before giving a light jump. 

she landed with a soft thud on the grass, that is, in the secluded garden behind the school building. a contented smile tugged on her lips, and she walked into her class as if nothing had happened.

jennie loved being able to do this, to be able to teleport to anywhere she wanted to go conveniently. she couldn't imagine life without it.

"jendeukie!" jisoo and chaeyoung, the only two people jennie talks to, jumped onto the shocked girl, acting as if it's been years since they last saw her.

"hoes, it's too early in the morning for such excitement," jennie mumbled, rubbing her shoulders sulkily. she tossed her bag onto her desk and trudged over to where chaeyoung and jisoo's desks were, which was, sadly, all the way across the classroom.

the class was surprisingly full of chatters today, which jennie found it weird as the students were usually dead as fuck in the morning.

"what's with the commotion?" jennie raised her eyebrows and cocked her head to one side.

jisoo twirled her hair in her fingers, and her lips curved into an excited grin.

"apparently a new girl is coming in today," chaeyoung quickly spoke, seeing jisoo anticipating the new girl made her heart clench. "i hope she's nice."

jennie simply nodded, nothing about this seemed exciting at all. well, nothing about school was exciting.

as if on cue, the bell rang and she got off jisoo's seat, dragging her feet back to where she sat. the class fell silent when the teacher walked in, but the silence didn't last long when a certain blonde girl followed in.

"oh shit she's so pretty."

"woahhhh"

the girl wore a bright smile and her eyes were shining as she introduced herself.

"hey there, i'm lisa and i'll be your new classmate from today onwards. nice to meet you!"

jennie eyed the girl curiously, lisa had a certain aura that jennie couldn't seem to put her finger on.

her eyes grew wide when the teacher pointed to the empty seat next to her, and the new girl was already walking cautiously towards jennie.

ohhh jendeukie that girl seems quite cute huh, jisoo's voice rang in jennie's head.

jennie could practically see the smirk behind jisoo's voice and she shot a death glare towards her two best friends who were snickering at her.

"umm hello! what's your name?" lisa's voice shook jisoo out of jennie's head, causing jennie to become a flustered mess.

"o-oh uhhh i'm jennie," she stuttered, flashing a cute gummy smile at the new girl. "i hope we get along well hehe."

lisa couldn't help but giggle at the sight of jennie's gummy smile, but her mind wandered back to the way jennie scoffed at the two girls across to the classroom.

something seemed different with jennie, something... special.
