Chapter 22

The coldness hit my pale face.  Chills ran through my spine like a snake slithering.  I rubbed my hands together to keep me warm.  The snow fell to the floor.  I reached out my hand and a snowflake landed on my hand.  “It’s beautiful,” I said.  “Just like you”.  I turned around and saw Ethan.  I ran towards him and hugged him.  “I missed you,” I said.  “It’s been only 2 weeks for winter break,” he said.  I kissed him.

It’s been 3 months since Bella incident.  She hasn’t woken up.  Her parent gave up and they decided to think she was dead so they wont have false hope.  On the other hand Daniel hasn’t.  Everyday he sits down next to her body and talks to her about his day.  Daniel is heart broken and he’s lonely.  He has tried to take his life but thanks to Sammy he didn’t.  Sammy short for Samantha has been with Daniel since Bella went into coma.  Sammy supports Daniel through his tough times.  You could notice chemistry between them but Daniel still loves Bella and he’ll always love Bella.

Through out the time Seth’s been ignoring me and our connection is weak.  He’s my mate but he’s with Beth.  He never shows care or love for me.  Except a week ago.  I was heading to fighting class when Seth pulled me and said “Don’t do anything stupid, take care please I wouldn’t want to tear a head from its body” and he left.  After that he has never talk to me only for stupid things like can I have a pencil? Or like what day is it? I gave up.  I don’t want to give him my heart for him to tear it apart.  Me and Ethan been dating for 2 months and it’s been going great.  He loves me but I’ll always belong to Seth.  I used to feel Seth’s emotion but since we’re not together I stopped feeling them and when we touch by mistake I don’t feel sparks like I used to.

I’ve been searching for more clues about Jarod.  Nothing.  After finding the pictures I haven’t found anything else.  Only last 3 weeks when I was cleaning my room  a rock was thrown in my window.  It had a paper stuck to it.

I still have nightmares of Jarod killing my dad or one of my friends.  Night by night they keep getting worst where at the point that I sleep walk and I start drawing messages while I’m sleeping like HELP or HE’S COMING.  Ethan been with me and every time I wake up from my nightmare I call him and he spent the night with me.  He tells me stories about Cinderella but the original one when her sister cut of their toe and heel to make the heels fit.  It’s gruesome but I felt asleep after he tells me a story or he just sings lyrics from different songs.

Alison still doesn’t find her mate.  She’s giving up but this winter break she’s going to travel packs to help and hopefully to find her mate.  She calls Sammy or me for update.  Her last pack was Blue moon, it’s in New York and she has a feeling in her gut that she will find her mate.

We’ve been learning our powers.  Alison is reading people minds, Ethan is communicating with animals, Daniel is healing people, Sammy is transporting place to place, Seth is controlling the earthquakes and nature, Beth powers is speed I learnt that the hard way.  I was training when out of nowhere a punching bag was thrown at me and it knocked me down.  Lastly my power is controlling the weather.  I could strike a person with lighting or burn one with the sun heat.

My dad pack has been attack 3 times by rouges but no one died.  Not yet.

I kissed Ethan.  He pulled out a necklace with half a heart.  It was gold and if you look closely out initials were printed.  “Ethan you shouldn’t have,” I said.  He shook his head.  “Nope don’t worry babe,” he said.  I threw my arms around him and he spun me around.  He put the necklace on.  He has the other half.  We went inside cause it’s cold.  We were walking to the lounge when we stumble into Seth and Beth.  “Oops” Beth said and spilled her hot coffee at me.  I gasped and Seth for a moment looked angry.  “What the hell Beth cant you stop being a bitch” Ethan said.  Seth looked like he agreed with him.  I slapped Beth.  She was goanna slap me when Seth hold her.  I was so mad, a struck of lighting appear and the sky was dark.  Beth looked scared but Seth looked proud.  Ethan pulled me.  He kissed my temple which made Seth growl.  We were taken by surprise even himself.  Beth looked worried and scared.

“Let’s go Beth, sorry Scar” Seth said and left with Beth.  Ethan turned me around so I could face him.  “You okay?” he asked.  I nodded.  “You don’t have to hide your emotions from me, I know how you feel,” he said while his hand caressed my cheek.  “It’s just that it gets me mad that Seth doesn’t realize that he’s m-” I stooped myself from finishing the sentence cause I don’t want to fight with Ethan.  “Mine” he finished my sentence.  Sadness took over him he let his hand drop and walked away.  I tried to stop him but I couldn’t.  I threw my hands in the air from frustration.

My phone made a sound.  I saw the screen and it said *come meet me at 12pm near the woods- Seth.  Should I go? I deleted his message I would like if Ethan or anyone else saw it.  I left to my room to put my cloth in the drawers.  I was organizing my drawers when I hear a squeal and arm where enveloping me.  I turned around and saw Sammy.  She’s really pretty.  She has blonde hair with brown eyes.  She’s a vampire.  “Hello I missed you,” she said.  I hugged her back.  “Me too, how was California” she spent her break in California with Daniel.  She nodded excited.  “Guess who has a boyfriend,” she asked.  I looked at her surprise.  “Daniel asked me to be his girlfriend” “But” I kept quite.  “I’m happy for you” I said and hugged her.  I ma happy for her its just that if Bella wakes up Daniel will go with her and leave a heart broken Sammy.

I wouldn’t also like if I wake up and see that my mate is with another woman after I went into coma.

I decided to call Ethan to talk to him but he ignored my calls and messages.  “Is everything okay with Eth” Sammy asked.  “Yeah” I lied.  “Don’t lie, you look like a mom dog who lost one of her puppy and she’s worry”.  I chuckled.  “I didn’t meant what I told him about Seth being mine” I said.  She came over and sat on my bed next to me.  “Sometimes you’re mad and you say hurtful things that you don’t mean and sometimes when you’re angry you say the truth even though if it hurts.  I know that deep inside of you, you still love Seth and your trying to move on but at the end he’s your soul mate” Sammy said.  She left to look for Daniel.

Maybe she’s right, I do want Seth but I don’t want to give up what Ethan and me have.
