Vines

*five minute before last part of "emergency"*

"Hurry up!" Kali screamed behind her to eleven as they ran. El was behind, out of breath. Her adrenaline was pumping faster than it ever had. She had caught up to kali in seconds, and as she did she recognized her surroundings. She saw the road hoppers driven her down so many times, to the place she was hidden so well, the cabin.

"Turn here!" El now shouted to kali who fell behind her quickened pace. Kali followed el's direction and followed her till she arrived near the cabin. It usually gave her a warm fuzzy feeling as it contained memories of her favorite people. But here it gave her the opposite. She shook as she heard the ferocious growling of the demagorgon (correct my spelling of it's wrong 😂.) Eleven unlocked all the locks on the door quickly and pushed kali into the house. Vines overtook the alternate dimensions sorry version of elevens home. "what do we do we do?!" Eleven's panicked eyes locked with Kali's similar looking ones. They paced the vined and broken floor trying to come up an idea while cautiously glancing over at the door everytime a faint rawr would sound.

"El!" Eleven quickly recognized her lovers voice traveling through the dimensions. Kali looked her with hope-filled eyes

"Mike..we need to get his attention." El reached into her pocket and pulled out the locket. She closed her eyes and entered her void. She saw him on the floor observing the floor beneath him that was now covered in vines. She could also faintly see her adoptive parent hopper. She happened to be standing in the same spot as him. She quickly exited her self and got on her hands and knees. She put the locket back on around her neck and they She observed the vines that surrounded that particular part of the floor. She was curious about the numbers she sees carved into the vines, 003 and 024. Kali cane beside eleven and looked at the vines. They look at eachother but as they do so, the number vines open up and suck up kali where to she doesn't know. When they tried to suck Eleven in she held on tight to the nearest piece of wood lifting from floor. She grunted and pulled herself higher. She felt her hand start to slip so with her last ounce of WILL (ha see what I did there😃) she was able to squeeze out the word "help" before being enclosed by the mysterious vines.

*in the real world, seconds after ^*

"help" Like eleven he could recognize her voice from anywhere. His eyes began to tear up, what happens if what happened to bob Newby joyces deceased ex-boyfriend happened to her. He couldn't let that happen, now the tears were pouring down mikes face and no matter how hard he tried to control them, they wouldn't stop flowing. "W-we-can't let it- get to her!" Mike said between the tears and sniffing "W-w-we have to save her."

"I know kid I know" Hopper said letting some of his soft side break through his tough exterior. The newfound job of parenting has repaired his broken heart and he had grown fond of Jane/eleven. "And I have just the plan to do it. I will get her back kid Weather I end up dead or alive I promise." Hopper pulled the sobbing mike into a hug as he thought of how to formulate this theory into a real plan.
