Ethan and I have been talking about this whole experiment for hours. We were trying to tie in things that we went through that could help figure out what was going on. But nothing. It was all just a blur.
"Are you tired?" Ethan asks me, laying on the couch.
"Yeah, very," I say sitting on the couch across from him. There was no heater so the building was freezing, and Ethan obviously noticed...
"I can tell your cold." He says smiling a little.
"I'm fine."
"Do you say I'm fine to everything?"
"No."
"Well, you say it a lot."
"I'm sorry, I'm not a very sociable person. I suck at making conversation."
"Yeah, I can tell." He says giving me a little wink making me giggle. "If your cold you can come lay here with me,...if you want." My face went flush red. Oh come on Lia, it's just to keep warm. Remember, body heat will help you get warmer. You're going to freeze if you don't go lay down with him. Just do it.
"Uh...okay," I say getting up and getting under his arms. I can definitely tell his strong now by the way he grabs ahold of me, making sure I don't fall off.
"Can I ask you something?" I say.
"Ask away."
"Are you scared..?"
"Yeah, actually I am."
"You don't seem like it."
"I tend to hide my feelings a lot, but trust me I am."
"Do you hide your feelings about everything."
"Yeah, usually. Why?" He asks looking down at me.
"Oh, just wondering," I say looking into his eyes. I wonder if he has feelings for me that he is hiding. The next thing I know, his soft lips touch mine, like an electric reaction occurred.
"Woah," I said looking deep into his eyes. "Was that hiding your feelings?"
"Probably the first time I actually showed them." He says giving me a little smile.
I finally go deep into sleep, under Ethan's arms, thinking about my mom and what she would think of Ethan if she was here right now.
