Chapter 2

                            Edwards Pov 

I knew that once Bella was dead that the wolves would come. I had to protect my daughter and my family at all cost. I gathered up Alice and jasper because they were the only ones who didn't have a baby in their hands. Rose has Renessmee, and would protect her at any cost. I knew this because she had always wanted a child and would protect one at all cost. I am very thankful for my family. I have the most wonderful family in the world. We were outside when the wolves descended from the forest. There was way more than we had anticipated. We tried to fight them off but they were too strong. That was when Emmett, Esme, and Carlisle came. They started to fight with us. Emmett hit Paul and Carlisle and Esme hit Sam, who was on top of me. We were all backed up against our porch when Jacob comes out and he says, " Stop! it's over! If you kill her, then you kill me!" Sam throws him into the air but he changes in mid air. Now we have never seen a werewolf change before so it was pretty cool to see what it was like. But anyways, We got back up off of the ground and started to growl. The rest of the family was confused as to what he was talking about so I had to fill them in. "Jacob imprinted on Renessmee. Whoever a wolf imprints on can't be touched. It's their most absolute law." I explained. Sam started to back up and eventually him and his pack turned around and left. Jacob turned around and I gave him a slight nod. He did the same back. But what I heard next will shock everyone.....
