I was sitting on my bed reading a book (a horror book to be exact) when I heard a crash downstairs I immediately started to panic suddenly loads of images and thoughts raced through my mind I was home alone anyone could do anything!what was I going to do! I finnaly gathered enough courage to find out what it was I slowly turned the old rusty door knob it made a loud creek I flinched hopefully whoever or whatever was down there didn't hear that I tiptoed down the stairs that creeked every step of the way suddenly everything went completely silent I tiptoed down the rest of the stairs everything was silent I walked into the damp smelling kitchen were I heard the crash I searched through the cubords even the fridge and oven! I heard distant steps suddenly I heard a gruff voice say "put your hands up or I'll shoot" I immediately dived behind the island in my kitchen what was he going to if I didn't put her hands up he wouldn't really shoot me would he Mabey.... I slowly stood up and slowly raised both of my hands up "good girl Ruth" he said how did he know her name?"how do you know my name?" I stuttered still staring at the gun this guy was pointing at me "Hahaha you must think I was born yesterday!"he laughed
"And that's all I remember apparently I blacked out after that!" Ruth explained to Katniss (her best friend)
"Wow when you said you had a near death experience I didn't really belive you!"
"So that's my near death experience!"
Ruth and Katniss were sitting on the white leather sofa watching a movie were merciless people were robbing each other "well what's your near death exp-" the lock on the door had just clicked someone ran into the room holding a knife above his head the two petrifyed girls sprinted into the kitchen and hid behind the marble island in the middle of the kitchen "I think this is my near death experience mabey even my actual death experience"Katniss whispered the guy burst round the corner the girls screamed and ran through the smashed French doors they hid behind the shed Katniss whipped out her rose gold iphone with the mokingjay on it (she had once been in the hunger games yet she didn't like to talk about it Ruth was surprised that she didn't say that was her near death experience she and peta were the 2 that survived) she dialled 999
