(Chapter 28)

(3rd P.O.V)

Y/N was just putting the finishing touches on a mathematics paper along with everyone else in the class. In complete honesty he was having a hard time focusing because of a strange vision that was appearing before his very eyes. It was symbol that looked like the shape of a wolf head surrounded by something that had a slight resemblance to a zodiac. It was sitting flat on his paper and rolling around all the text and numbers he hand written down. It was starting to get on his nerves.

After finishing the paper and ignoring the annoying vision, he handed his paper to Yukizome, who was collecting everyone's papers. She then looked at the clock in the room. "Ok, I'd say it's about time for you all to stop, why don't we all start break now."

The class sighed in a mix of relief and happiness when they got the word. Y/Nrummaged around in his bag for a drink, however he couldn't seem to get one. "Damn." he muttered. He decided to leave the room to find a vending machine that gives drinks in the school.

He eventually found one and inserted some change into the machine, only for it to fail giving him. "Oh come on." He gave the vending machine a slight pound to see if he could knock the drink out of the machine, but to no avail. "Oh forget it."

Just when he was about to turn around and leave, Y/N could see the reflection of Mukuro on the vending machine glass. He turned around and gasped when he saw her standing just a few inches from him. He backed away, slightly surprised. "O-Oh, Mukuro what are you doing here?"

Mukuro said nothing. She just stood next to him and gently pushed him to the side. Then, without hesitating, she full on punched the vending machine making Y/N's drink tumble to the bottom. She picked it up and placed it in his hand before inserting her own change into the machine. "Came here for a drink." she finally answered.

"Well, thanks for getting my drink."

Mukuro shrugged while taking a sip from her can. "It's fine."

Another wave of awkward silence plagued over them as they both just sipped from their drinks while occasionally gazing at each other. Y/N decided it was about time to actually get to know this  rather silent woman. "Soooo um..." Y/N stopped when he noticed something. While Mukuro was taking a sip from her soda, he saw the same symbol that he saw from earlier in his vision, inscribed onto her right hand in the form of a tattoo. " Hey, that tattoo?!"

This seemed to actually catch Mukuro of guard as she furrowed her eyebrows  and looked slightly defensive. "What about it?"

"Oh there's nothing wrong with it, it's just that well... I happened to see it in a vision from earlier."

Mukuro's expression softened slightly. She looked down at her hand, starting at her tattoo somewhat intensely. "Oh this... yeah, this was the tattoo that symbolised the mercenary group I was in."

Now Y/N was interested. "Really? Did this group have a name?"

"Yes. We were known as Fenrir."

"Oh... um neat." Mukuro nodded slightly. "So what was it like?"

"Huh?"

"Sorry, if it's personal you don't have to tell."

Mukuro looked at him in silence. She thought to herself, "I might just gain his trust if I tell him more... and I can learn more about him." Mukuro eased up and nodded. "Ok. I'll tell you what it was like." Y/N readied himself for a story that was most likely going to be very intense. "Guess I'll go through one of my first days on the field..."

(Flashback to Mukuro's first time out on field)

Mukuro was sitting in a small truck, being hauled to her destination along with rest of her fellow peers from Fenrir. The trip had been long and bumpy and Mukuro had done nothing but sit there in silence, remembering all the intense training she had been through to get to this day.
