The Student Council

(Chapter 30)

(3rd P.O.V)

"Nyeeah, I'm so late." A rather short girl was dashing through the rather large building that is Hope's Peak Academy. She was wearing a yellow hoodie that had some bunny ears protruding  from the hood. While running she came to a screeching halt as she needed to turn a corner, nearly taking out two students while she slid by. "E-Excuse me! Sorry!" she dashed past them and continued on her on her way in a hurry.

The two students who she nearly crashed into looked at each other confused. They just shrugged and went their own way.

The girl was almost at her destination. "Mrrm, the others aren't gonna like this." She turned another corner. "Why can't we have these meetings-oof!" The girl suddenly made contact with Chiaki who was playing her Game Gurl Advanced. The two crashed to the ground.

Y/N who happened to be there walked to Chiaki and offered his hand. "You ok there?"

Chiaki held his hand and he helped her up. "Yes I'm fine."

The girl with the hood swiftly stood up all worried. "Oh my gosh! I am so sorry." she said while bowing.

"It's alright." Chiaki said.

Y/N looked at the girl with the bunny hoody. "Who are you?"

"Oh, my name is Aiko Umesawa."

"Nice to meet you, I'm Y/N."

"I'm Chiaki Nanami. It's nice to meet you."

Aiko smiles at them. "It's nice to meet you- toooooooooo!" Aiko said shrieking the last part. Y/N and Chiaki raised an eyebrow. "I'm late, I'm late." Aiko bowed again before running again. She stopped again and waved at them. "Bye. Hope we meet up again." she then dashed away.

Y/N and Chiaki exchanged confused glances at each other before shrugging and continuing on their way.

Aiko made one last skid around a corner and ran straight to a door. She then threw the door open and burst into the room. "I'm here!" she announced.

The very thing she was late for was a meeting with the student council. Other members mostly looked at her in minor annoyance. Aiko rubbed the back of her head. "Heh sorry I-"

"You're late." a girl with short brown hair and glasses commented. "In fact, you're late by-"

"I know, I know, it's just... lessons were really boring today and I fell asleep and then I lost track of time and then I bumped into these two people and then-"

"Stop. Just stop" said the man who was known as the ultimate student council president. "The important thing is you're here now, just take a seat." Aiko nodded and swiftly bounced her way over to the nearest empty desk. The council president who went by the name Soshun Murasame then cleared his throat and neatly tapped some papers together.

"Ooook, now that we've got that out of the way, I guess we should first discuss the matters of the new school building." A few groans sounded off. "Hey easy now, it's only a matter of time before the building is completed and I've got word on some of the huge expansions they've done."

"What's there to say?" a girl with red slightly spikey hair commented while leaning back on her chair half heartedly. "Bigger place, nicer building, more stuff that's it."

"Yeeeah it kind of seems redundant to mention." a boy with blue hair styled in a bowl cut said agreeing. the rest of the class gradually agreed with the exception of Soshun and the vice student council president, Karen Kisaragi.
