Part 2

I went to my locker after American History, and started to cry. I couldn't believe that I was going to miss Magcon. I had planned this trip for over 6 months, and now I can't even go. I wiped off my tears, grabbed my books, and started heading to Science.

I sat with my best friend Cambria (Nash girl), and she slipped me a note.

"So what's the deal with Mr. Andrews?" it read. I grabbed my eraseable pen and wrote back.

"I can't go to Magcon anymore..."

"Johnna! You have to go! You can't have the five of us go without you!"

I didn't even think about that. I'm supposed to be going with the girls. I couldn't let them down.

I looked around the classroom, and saw them looking at me. Elena, who is a Hayes girl, Shawna, who is a Cameron girl, Briley, who is a Carter girl, and Camryn. They were all staring at me with a scared look on their faces. They knew what we were talking about.

Before I even knew it, the bell had rung. I walked out of the class and met up with all of them.

"Why would you even risk that!" Shawna asked.

"Yeah, why?" the rest of them asked.

"I'm sorry, I wasn't thinking. I don't know what I'm going to do now."

"Let's talk about it during lunch." Elena suggested.

We agreed with her idea and went to our lockers, grabbed our lunch boxes, and headed to the cafeteria.

"So.... What am I going to do?"

"I don't know, we need to think of something soon though."

"Have you tried asking him to switch days?" Camryn asked.

"Camryn, it doesn't work like that." I replied in a mocking tone.

"Well.... you could ditch?"

"Yeah, that would work. I go to the detention, get a pass to go to the bathroom, and instead, sprint full speed through the halls and you guys can wait for me outside!"

It was the perfect plan. We spent the rest of lunch planning everything out.

"Hey, where's Jacob?" (Yes it is indeed Jacob Whitesides)

We looked around the lunchroom. He was nowhere to be found.

"I guess he's not at school today."

Which was really strange considering that he has never missed a day of school. Something important must have come up. Hopefully he's ok.

We went through the rest of our classes normally, and finally went home. Camryn drove me and Cambria (Cambria lives right next to us) and after about 5 minutes, we were home.

Our parents were at work, so we were going to be home alone for a few hours. I went upstairs to my room, threw my books on my bed, and went to my closet to pack for Magcon. About halfway through packing, my phone started ringing.

"we gon' party buckwild look at shawty buckwild take a sh-"

"Camryn! Can you get my phone?"

Camryn's P.O.V.

I opened up my book bag, and pulled out my phone. 5 missed calls from Jacob. Crap, I need to call him back.

"Camryn! Can you get my phone?" Johnna yelled down the hall.

I ran down the hall and grabbed her phone. Incoming Call: Jacob Whitesides. I answered it as fast as I could.

"Hello?"

"Oh my god, you're never going to believe this!"

"What is it?"

"I can't believe it! I just got a call from-"
