Keep in my mind,

are the words you speak,

they hit me at my weakest link,

the one that keeps me bound to mind,

the one that keeps me up with time

the words you speak,

bring me to kneel,

at my place,

under your heel

the words you speak,

are remembered in time,

the words you speak,

are remembered in mind,

keep in my mind,

locked in a safe,

and in time

yes, it's true,

your hammer,

your words,

can shatter glass,

because you never took the class

because you never took the class

you never knew,

how to handle glass

Words are words,

yes, this is true,

but there're words that can hurt you

Keep in my mind,

the glass of feeling,

that broken glass has no heeling,

it only cuts, like a knife

a knife that you only held for strife

the class you never took,

only left you in a nook,

for you knew not,

a knife in strife,

can only ever end a life

Now I only have my memory,

because you never took it seriously,

your hammer hit the glass,

because you never took the class

remember, in time,

your time will come,

you will be left with nowhere to run,

everyone has to take the class,

everyone has to feel the glass

keep in mind,

when we took the class,

because we'll never forget the broken glass.
