"It's not my fault I'm a good person!" I heard Tord Larsson shout from inside the house. I'm pretty sure he forgot to tell his roommates that he invited me to live here. Sigh, of course. I adjusted my plain black hoodie and pulled it further over my eyes.

"Where are they gonna sleep!?" Edd Gould shouted. I heard someone scoff inside the house before I heard someone fall. I just stood in the doorway silently and I pulled a flask of rum from the pocket of my hoodie and took a swig.

"If Tord brought em here than I don't want em, good person my ass" I heard the voice of Tom Ridgewell grumpily say. I heard another thud before I heard what sounded like repeated smacking. This probably wasn't as good an idea as I originally hoped.

"I have no problem with them as long as they don't cause me any trouble" Matt Hargreaves said. I'm slightly troubled about what kind of shit I just got myself into. I put the flask back in my hoodie pocket as the slapping stopped and I saw the four of them peak into the living room from the kitchen to get a look at me still standing in the doorway.

"Should we invite it in" Matt asked. No one replied as I took my flask back out and drank again. Tom began nodding his head lightly and Tord gave Tom a dirty look. Edd eyed me and looked me up and down as I put the flask away again. As I looked behind them I saw the door led straight into the living room where there was a T.V. and a massive red couch that Tord could probably dissappear in if he put his red hood over his face. It sounded to me that a lot of people would enjoy it if we just put a hood over his face.

"Yo what's your name again?" Tord asked. Yup this was a bad idea. I turned around and dragged my suitcase behind me down the driveway and away from the house. I heard yelling behind me as I kept walking.

"You assholes scared em off! Wait! Hold on! Waaaiiit!" Tord shouted as he chased me down the driveway. As I got to the sidewalk Tord came around in front of me with his arms out blocking my way. I pulled the hood further over my eyes and looked away from him trying to find a way out of this.

"Come on I know you don't have anywhere else to go" Tord said with his face getting unnaturally serious. He didn't remember my name and I never told him my age or gender but hell yea how about you come stay with me and my friends... and my greatest enemy. I'm sure you don't believe but we met in a drugstore and he followed me when I fell asleep on a park bench.

"Why do you care?" I said quietly. Tord dropped his arms and placed them on my shoulders. I looked at him and pulled my hood further over my eyes. Tord looked sincere and since I knew him and had heard all about him that was slightly unnerving.

"Because I do, now I'm sorry for forgetting your name just please" Tord asked. I considered it and I guess he was right. I needed somewhere to live because I can't count the times I've almost died. Perhaps I could stay for a little while... until I get a new place, a place at all.

"TJ... It's TJ" I said. Tord smirked and grabbed my hand making me uncomfortable. He tugged me back toward the house and I dragged my bag. The guys moved out of the way as Tord dragged me inside and plopped me on the couch.

"They're staying and that's that!" Tord said. Part of me wondered if Tord told them anything. I doubted it unless they were all just jerks. I could tell Matt was vain, and Tom acted like an ass but I also heard some things about him from Tord. From what I heard about Edd he was basically a Coke obsessed leader. I guess I would just have to fit in where I could... or not.

"I never said they couldn't . All I said was they need a place to sleep" Edd said. Tom sighed and came to sit next to me on the couch with Tord on the other side. Matt shut the door and walked upstairs and everyone began moving about like I wasn't even here... except Edd who sat in a red chair next to the couch.

"That's easy they'll sleep on the couch" Tord said. I didn't mind the couch really, it was a lot more comfortable than other places I slept. In my opinion this couch felt like a fucking cloud, it would be heaven for me if I got to sleep here.

"I don't want em to be uncomfortable" Edd said. He disappeared into the kitchen and came back with a Coke. Tom turned on the T.V. and I turned to Tord.

"Couch is cool" I whispered in his ear. Tord leaned closer and I gulped uncomfortably as I repeated myself. Tord nodded and Tom sighed again pulling a bottle of Smirnoff out of nowhere. Tord turned to Edd and relayed the message.

"I don't know why they can't fucking say it to to rest of us, besides couch is taken" Tom said. Tord leaned forward and shot Tom a dirty look. I leaned further into the wonderful couch as I kept my face stone cold. Inside I felt great, like I could fall asleep on this magnificent couch for the rest of my life.

"By who!?" Tord shouted. I was knocked from my thoughts by the shout in my ear and Tom stole a glance at Tord with a glare. He pulled the cork off the Smirnoff bottle with his teeth and spit it out so it flew somewhere I didn't see. I looked out of the corner of my eye to watch the scene unfold.

"None of your damn business Commie!" Tom shouted before downing a few shots of the Smirnoff. Tord reached into his pocket for something but took a glance at me before deciding whatever he was planning was a bad idea... for now.

"Fine they'll just stay in my room!" Tord shouted without thinking. That's when my eyes finally went wide. To everyone else it probably looked like I was hardly listening but Tord finally caught my attention with the last sentence.

"Do you even know this one's fucking gender!?" Tom shouted with what sounded like surprise. Tord shrugged and grabbed my arm but I didn't want to move... this, was too weird. I didn't like this at all. Tord pulled me off the comfortable couch and grabbed my suitcase dragging both of us into the kitchen and down a long hallway to a set of stairs. When we got up the stairs there was another, shorter, hallway and we walked in the second door to a large room.

"This is mine and you can sleep in here" Tord said. He dropped my bag and I looked at the floor or what would be where I slept. It was a step down from the couch but what the hell it was better than a park bench.

"If its not ok with you I'll figure something else out, Tom's an ass" Tord said. He rolled his eyes and muttered the last part. I wanted the say thank you but I also wanted to scream so I guess neither of those were happening. I kept my mouth shut for a bit worried if I opened it I would scream in embarrassment and joy at a real home. I sat on the floor and let my hand feel the carpet. It was so soft and amazing for a simple carpet.

"Why are you on the floor?" Tord asked as he sat down on a wheeled chair next to a desk. There was a large red button on the wall by the desk that I had the strange urge to press. I pushed it from my head as I looked at Tord with confusion.

"You get the bed until we get a more permanent solution" Tord said casually. I was smiling on the inside but on the outside I just nodded and stood. I let my gaze fall on Tord's bed and then I took a look around. It looked like the room should have been bigger from the outside but maybe the room next to this was just really big.

The walls were blood red, as well as the blankets on his bed. The chair he was sitting in was red and so was practically everything else. On his desk there was a cigar case and the bookshelves were piled with Manga and Anime DVDs. His closet was closed and I took another look at the button... where did it go to? I sat on the bed and then immediately shot up off of it when the bed moved.

"Haha what was that about?" Tord said laughing at me. I pointed at the bed with my lips creasing into a frown. I walked to it again and bent down to the bed. I poked it and it jiggled. I pulled away again and looked at Tord.

"It's called a water bed... have you never seen one?" Tord said leaning into the chair and laughing lightly at my stupidity. I stood again and rolled on to the bed. The bed moved and jiggled which fascinated me. I kept wriggling and moving and the bed flowed with me. This thing was awesome! I noticed my hood was falling off my head and I grabbed it before Tord could see my face, but not before I smiled at the coolness of the "water bed."

"You like it?" Tord said. I nodded and tried to return to my normal emotionless deminor. My short black hair showed a bit as well and a few of the red streaks as I tried to tuck it back behind my ear. I was careful not to get my hair stuck on any of my many piercings. I sat up in the bed and it moved again making me almost fall over.

As I was about to say thanks the doorbell down stairs rung and with a smirk Tord left the room. I flopped backwards onto the water bed with a small smile. I think I'm going to like it here.
