Trouble In Paradise

[This is another continuation of the last chapter, just from a different POV]

Corbyn POV

We've been playing twister for a while and I can tell Winter isn't in to it because she seemed lost in thought.

"Hey so do you want to spin next?" I asked, trying to get her back in the game.

"Yeah, why not" she responded, but I knew she didn't want to play anymore. She finally got up as we were about to go for another round.

"Hey, I need some air in gonna go home if that's alright with you Cam."

Are you kidding me, why does she always leave? How am supposed to ask her out of she keeps leaving?

"Again, can't you just stay a little longer I'll make sure it's worth while." I know what your thinking and that's not what I meant.

"No I gotta go, but I'll probably come back later, Emily can I have a word?"

"Sure" she said.

They walked out and had a conversation before Winter left. I stare out the door as she walks out when someone speaks.

"So your going to just stare at her and be a stalker?" Jonah said from beside me as the door was slammed shut which made me jump.

"No I'll talk to her when she comes back like she said she would."

"You honestly believe she's coming back?"

Jonah walks away leaving me with that thought knowing it will literally eat me alive.

It's been five minutes since Winter left and no one seems worried... I've had enough.

"So no ones worried about Winter at all?" I say trying to get everyone's attention.

"She's the safest person we know and she probably went home" Holly says sounding unsure.

"Emily what did you talk to Winter  about before she left?" Maggie said with her voice shaking.

"Well she just asked about her bike and if it was shipped in today and then she-"

"Emily are you serious, you told her? I thought we all agreed to not tell her for her own safety because of what happened." Cameron said.

"What happened?" I'm getting curious about what these girls are hiding.

"Nothing" the girls say in unison, they are hiding something and if it involves Winter then I'm going to find out.

"Well if I'm not getting any answers from you guys, I'll ask her myself ." I storm out of the house speed walking so I don't miss Winter.

I see Winter grabbing a helmet and putting it on her head... yeah, she's definitely riding her bike. She grabs a leather jacket and rolls her bike out of the garage. I'm surprised she was able to get a Honda Cbr 1000 those are so expensive.

After warming the bike up she took off and I was right behind her, she went around L.A. and ended up somewhere downtown.

Winter must have been riding for years with experience like that. It looked like she was heading back, in your face Jonah. She was making a sharp turn but she didn't make it and she fell off her bike.

I stopped my car, got out and ran to her, she was lying on the ground holding her wrist.

When I got there she was crying and I don't think it was from the accident she had just gotten into.

"Autumn I'm so sorry please come back" she sobbed as I hooked her bike to my car and sit her in my car.

We're driving to the house when she looks up at me for the first time the entire ride.

"Why were you following me Corbyn?" She sounded dazed or lost in thought but I answered her anyway.

"I was and I am worried about you I thought you might have gotten hurt, and I know I'm super weird but I really like you and I- I just wanted to let you know."

We were almost to the house when she responds, I stop the car and we're now facing each other.

"Look I like you but this can't happen that's all I have to say so just drive me home and never speak of this again please."

"Winter I know you think your to dangerous for me to handle and your secrets might come out and we may think.of y'all differently or something but... we WON'T! I can promise you that, we aren't the type of people to do that." I said to her.

"I-"
