You and Ruby have been friends since you guys were five. You, Ruby, and Sapphire hung out a lot ever since you guys became friends. Sapphire followed her dream and went to explore the Kanto region. She seemed happy ever since she met a boy named Lucas. You and Ruby stayed in the Hoenn region because you decided to help out the day care and Ruby focused on helping his father but focusing on his fashion interests. You were also known as the level headed friend. While Ruby was shy and kept to himself and Sapphire was loud and out going, you were level headed and kind.

You were finishing some work at the day care when your phone rang. You looked and saw Sapphire contact on your phone.

"Hello?" You questioned.

"Y/N! Go to Ruby's place!" She exclaimed as you almost dropped your phone. You rubbed your ear.

"Why?" You questioned.

"It's a surprise." She said as you rolled your eyes and finished cleaning. You decided to just use your Seaking and surf back. When you made it to Ruby's place, you heard a yell.

"This will never be right!" Ruby yelled as you knocked on the door. "Y-Y/n?"

"Hey Rubes. Just came to visit and Sapph said for me to." You said as he opened the door wider and hugged you. You were used to his soft hugs. They made your heart race. Your Clefairy jumped out and hugged him. For some reason, Clefairy really liked him.

"Hello Clefairy. I got you a new dress." He said as Clefairy jumped up and down. You laughed at Clefairy before watching her run off with Ruby's Sceptile. "Ho-How have you been?"

"I've been lonely working at the daycare by myself but now that I'm with you, I feel much better." You stated as he blushed. You realized what you said and blushed. 

"That's good." Ruby muttered as you turned your head.

"Ruby, what have you been doing?" You asked as he blushed and hid a piece of fabric. You turned your head to the side. "What is that?"

"Y-Y/n, I didn't want you to see it but I've been working on a dress for you. Gold has a party and he said to bring a Date so I was going to ask you and give you this as a gift." Ruby stated showing a lacy dress in F/C. "Though I didn't think you'd say yes."

"Ruby, it looks beautiful." You said in awe as he blushed and looked at his feet.

"It's not as beautiful as you." He muttered as you turned to him.

"Wha-" You were cut off when a pair of lips slammed into yours and kissed you. You kissed back and ran your hands through his hair that was sticking out under his hat. He blushed and held you close before you both backed away out of breath.

"Y/n, I li-love you." Ruby said as you blushed and hugged him.

"I love you too." You said before Ruby twirled you and started on new designs. You would giggle and kiss him when you wanted a break. You laughed as he would stop working just to cuddle or kiss you for a while. You on the other hand would drag him from his designs just to go walk around with him too.
