Pokemon Trainers x Reader One Shots

Beloved~ Eusine

Your team: Typhlosion, Noctowl, Pikachu, Lapras, Gengar, and Espeon

You have been traveling with Eusine for a while since you defeated the Johto league. Eusine was still obsessed with Suicune and it was starting to make you frustrated. He brought you on this journey to hang with you but all he talks about is that Suicune. You have just about had it.

It was an early Monday when Eusine decided to chase Suicune. You stayed behind with your pokemon and played with them at the Poke Center. Eusine had been gone for a while but you knew he would continue this until Suicune left. It was about two hours later when Morty showed up at the Center. He looked panicked.

"Morty! What's wrong?" You yelled as your pokemon that could be let out came over. 

"It's Eusine! He went to Olivine City to get across the water but he has no water types!" Morty exclaimed as you sighed. 

"Let me grab my team. I'll go save him again." You sighed as Morty joined you on flying on Noctowl. 

It was storming when you go to Olivine City. There were loud claps of thunder and large lightening bolts. It looks like Raikou and Suicune were at it. You got by the water and you noticed Eusine was trying to swim to Suicune which was fighting Raikou. 

"Eusine! You dummy!" You yelled as he continued to swim. "Lapras go! Use swim!"

Lapras hit the water and you jumped on. You left Morty on shore with the rest of your pokemon besides Gengar and Espeon. This was risky. Both Raikou and Suicune were angry but you would do anything to save Eusine. You noticed he was struggling with swimming when Suicune made the rapids fast. A loud clap of thunder was also heard.

"Lapras, move fast!" You said as Lapras sped towards Eusine. Once you got to him, he was already sinking underwater. "Gengar and Espeon, focus on calming the two dogs while I get Eusine." 

Your two favorite pokemon hopped out and began to shoot different attacks at Suicune and Raikou to try and calm them. You jumped into the water and swam under to get Eusine. You noticed he was not moving and you pushed yourself to get there quicker. 

When you came up from the water, Suicune and Raikou were panting and not moving as much while your Espeon and Gengar were smiling. 

"Espeon, can you use psychic to get Eusine?" You asked as Espeon nodded her head. You climbed back onto Lapras's back and Espeon moves Eusine's body onto your lap. The two legendary dogs began to get up when Gengar used Hypnosis. "Return you two. Thank you so much." 

Lapras swam back to shore where the rest of your pokemon and Morty were waiting. Morty saw you two and quickly helped to pick up Eusine. 

"Y/n, we need to do CPR. I can't feel his heartbeat." Morty said as he laid him down. Before you retaliated, Morty continued. "You are trained in CPR."

"I will help him." You sighed as you bent down. You opened his lips and pressed yours against his. You continued to do CPR and felt his heartbeat pick up. "He has a faint heartbeat, we need to get him to the Pokemon Center." 

You returned your pokemon and began to run to the Pokemon Center with Morty. 

"Hello, how may I- what happened?!" Nurse Joy exclaimed. You began to explain what happened as Chansey and Blissey took Eusine to the examining room. You and Morty were told to wait outside while they checked him. 

"Are you okay Y/n?" Morty asked softly.

"Morty, I have been saving him every single time. I have been by his side every single time. It is only because I love him so much but he does not see that." You sighed as Morty wrapped an arm around your shoulder.

"Why do you think that?" Morty asked as you turned towards him.

"Morty, if he was not obsessed with Suicune, he would see me. I really just feel like the only reason I joined him on this hunt is to keep him out of trouble." You said as you heard the door open.

"He's awake now. We had to pump some oxygen in him but because there were no life threatening damages, he should be okay tomorrow." Nurse Joy said as the two of you stood up. "You may go back there. Blissey will lead you." 

Your Espeon hopped out of her ball and was by your side immediately. Espeon loved the both of you and always tried to push you to confess. You petted Espeon's head before walking into Eusine's room after Morty. 

"Y/n?" You heard him say as you went to the opposite side of the bed. You placed a hand on his as he looked up to you.

"Eusine, why must you insist on hurting yourself?" You sighed as he looked away from you.

"I just want to be near Suicune once. To pet it. To get a picture." He said in a croaky voice.

"I think I should leave the two of you for now. Call me when he has more strength Y/n." Morty said as he gave you a hug and left. You did not notice the glare and clenched jaw when Morty hugged you coming form Eusine. 

"You still did not answer my question. Why do you insist on hurting yourself?" You said as he let out a large sigh.

"I thought you were only around to help me. If I showed that I don't need your help, you would leave me. Maybe even go to Morty." He sighed.

"Eusine! I care about you so much! To think I would just leave you? You scared me today. I thought you died! Eusine, I love you!" You yelled as his eyes widened. "I understand if you don't, it just scares me that you would risk your life over a Suicune." 

"Y/n, do you remember what we talked about when you first started your journey? You said that you would love to take a picture of Suicune for your album of legendaries. You always carry a digital camera in your red bag." Eusine said as your eyes widened. "It is not just some Suicune. I wanted to try and catch it or at least get a picture for you."

"Eusine... Please don't risk your life over that. I will get it whenever I do but I don't want the person I love to die." You said as he smiled up at you.

"Come closer Y/n." Eusine said as you leaned down. Eusine lifted up and kissed your lips softly. You kissed back immediately. There were missed passion and love in the kiss. Eusine had cupped your face with his hands as you ran fingers through his thick brown hair. "I love you too." 

You stayed with Eusine in the hospital room for the rest of the day. Nurse Joy gave you some pillows and allowed you to stay. When you told Morty that Eusine and you were together, Morty had said that he could see you two in the future together. That it would be a rollercoaster but the two of you would love each other more than the struggles.
