Fog covered the trees, snow stuck to the ground, the tree branches swayed as the harsh wind blew. Footsteps approached, seven different covens appear. Everyone stood in silence. June's blue eyes skimmed her surroundings as she stood besides Edward, Bella and Renesmee for more protection.

"If we live through this, I'll follow you anywhere, woman." Garrett said as he looked at Kate with loving eyes. Kate looked up at him, rolling her eyes and shaking her head.

"Now you tell me." Kate said and turned forward. Garrett smiled, a chuckle escaped his pale lips.

Carlisle and Esme held hands. Esme squeezed Carlisle's hand. The blonde doctor looked down at their hands before looking up at his wife. The two shared a loving look. Carlisle smiled making Esme turn away, a smile gracing her lips.

Emmett held Rosalie close to him, to assure himself and the blonde that they would be okay. Rosalie placed a hand on his chest and turned forward with worried eyes.

June stood tall, her eyes looking forward with hope. Hope that they would all survive. Jacob and Seth were not present. The two shape-shifters waited for the pack to come.

Loud footsteps echoed through the silent clearing. "The red coats are coming. The red coats are coming!" Garrett mumbled as he shifted in his place. Seriousness graced everyone's face.

On the right side of the clearing a large coven entered the clearing, black cloaks covering them. Vladimir and Stefan looked at them with scared eyes but smiles on their pale faces. The Volturi continued walking until they came to a stop in front of the Cullen's and their witnesses. A large space is left between them.

The Egyptian coven looked worried at the amount of people on the Volturi's side. Renesmee stared wide eyed. Aro's eyes skimmed the opposing side. Edward noticed this and turned his head slightly.

"Aro's looking for Alice." Edward informed as he kept his golden eyes on the dark haired male. Bella's golden eyes - that still had specks of red - looked at everyone in the Volturi. The Denali coven tense as their eyes landed on Irina.

Irina looked shocked to see her family helping the Cullen's. Howls are suddenly heard through out the clearing. The pack of shape-shifters stood besides the Cullen's and their witnesses. Seth moved towards Bella, Renesmee and Edward.

Jacob stood besides his imprint. June placed a warm gloved hand on Jacob's head with a smile but her eyes stayed on the Volturi. The three kings and the main guards removed their black hoods.

Carlisle walked forward leaving Esme. Calisle came to a stop just in front of the group. "Aro, let us discuss things as we use to. In a civilized manner." Carlisle's raspy voice said.

"Fair words, Carlisle. But a little out of place given the battalion you've assemble against us." Aro's soft but raspy voice said.

"I can promise you, that was never my intent. No laws have been broken." Carlisle tried to reason with them.

"We see the child. Do not treat us as fools!" Caius sneered as his bright red eyes glared at Carlisle. Carlisle shook his head in denial.

"She's not an immortal! These witnesses can attest that. Or you can look. See the flush of human blood in her cheeks!" Carlisle said as he gestured towards Renesmee who was hiding behind her mother.

"Artifice!" Caius snapped but Aro held his hand up to stop the blonde Volturi vampire.

"I will collect every facet of the truth. But from someone more central to the story. Edward, as the child clings to your newborn mate, I assume you are involved." Aro said taking a few steps forward and held his pale hand up.
