Chapter 7: Kurt

Here is chapter 7! I have the next few chapters planned out, but I have no idea how long I'm going to continue this story......I guess we'll see how things go. I'm so sorry it's taken me a while to update! I had camp and I had to visit my grandma in Indiana, where I still am, so I haven't had much access to a computer. I hope you can forgive me! Well....... chapter 7 now commences!!

Chapter 7: Kurt

I woke up smiling. 2 hours of sleep, but I didn't care. It was beyond worth it! I rolled out of bed and jumped in the shower.When I got out I applied some compact to my face. The bruise had healed quite a bit, but was still very noticeable. It was 6:02 when I finished. I hoped it would be gone when my dad came back. It was nice to have someone finally know, to have a true protector. I walked to my desk and checked my phone. I received a message at 5:56.

BLAINE: Good morning Kurt!

I decided he probably didn't go back to sleep, and if he did he needed to get up anyways.

ME: Good morning! How are we this morning?

He almost instantly replied, as if he had his phone in his hand.

BLAINE: Great now that I can text you. Still need a ride?

I felt the heat spread over my face as I read over the text twice more.

ME: Yeah, if it's still okay. Rachel is taking Finn in her 2 seat-er. But I'll find a different way if I need 2.

BLAINE: I'd be happy 2 accompany u 2 school. Wanna grab breakfast?

I smiled.

ME: Sure. Where we going?

BLAINE: Lima Bean OK?

ME: Will u b there?

It was cheesy line, but I sent it anyways.

BLAINE: And leave a lovely fellow like urself all alone? Never! Of course I'll b there silly!

ME: YAY! Then I'd love to!

I did my hair, brushed my teeth, and completed a short version of my moisturizing routine at 6:43. I was putting my bag on my shoulder when I heard a car horn. I looked out my window and saw Blaine parked outside. I smiled my head spun. I quickly looked away so I could concentrate on getting out the door without falling on my face.

I climbed in the passenger side and carefully put my bag in the seats behind us. I turned to see Blaine smiling at me,

" Hello Kurt," he greeted," you ready?"

" Yeah. Will we make it to school on time?" I asked, now realizing how late it was.

" We'll probably miss homeroom, if it's okay with you of course."

" Yeah, as long as you stay with me." I said. I could feel my face heating up and I turned to the window.

" Wouldn't miss it for the world." he answered, a smile in his voice. He flipped on the radio and Perfect by Pink was beginning. We somehow managed to turn it into a duet. I started of course,

Made a wrong turn, one or twice.

Dug my way out, blood and fire.
