(Vassago's POV)

I stood up broadly looking at her as did everyone else. I looked to see Jane and grimaced. She saw my eyes on her and her lips curved into a slight smile, winking at me. I raised my eyebrow and looked back to the angel seeing her looking around. She stood straight and proud but her eyes where fear-filled. They were all whispering, pointing, judging her. I sat back on my thrown, watching seeing how long it would take to break her, to see how long that brave act would last.

"Who are you girl?"

I looked over, one of the older council members spoke up glaring in her direction. With all the make-up and the dress, you could still see plain as day, she's an angel.

"I am Vera Longheart"

The whispering got louder turning into a regular talk.

"She's an angel"

"She'll have information on the rest of them!"

"Lest torture it out of her"

"let's just kill her"

Slowly her head spun around the room her bravery slowly crumbling down and I grinned to myself. She's definitely quite but in the end shes weak like the other angels. I snapped out of thought when I heard her yell. Looking over I saw Jasper gripping her wrist his eyes a deep pink. I straightened watching carefully.

"Men! Are you blind? She's an angel. Imagen what she holds in store, under a small dainty lock. All she needs is the right key."

He circled her as he said the stopping behind closely caressing her arm. All the men leaned in closely, their eyes now hungry. He saw this and continued

"I mean look at the curves a nice waist but rounded hips and of course a grown chest. She practically spilling out."

His hands outlined her curves without touching but then he grabbed the string tied to the front and pulled making the dress show more. She squealed harshly and bent over wrapping her arms around the opening trying to conceal it.

"Don't be shy dear girl let us have our fun as well"

He moved her forcefully so she wasn't bent any longer. She looked around panicked. Jasper then took his chance and grabbed her wrists trying to uncover her. The others slowly inched closer. I growled standing now.

"That is enough!"

Everyone stopped and looked up at me.

"let her go, Jasper"

He frowned deeply not moving. Eyes now black I walk over grabbing his hand making him let go.

"The meeting is over all of you leave"

I growled not looking away from him. Everyone leaves without a word. Jasper looked at her then back to me with a grin bowing rudely and strolled out. I looked down at her to see her staring back at me, eyes wide. I rolled my eyes pushing her away from me.

"Tch. Fix your dress."

"Huh? Oh!"

She spun her back to me tieing herself back up. I walked back to my thrown and sat watching her. She looked back at me a slight blush on her cheeks. My eyes narrowed slightly grinning. She blushes at the most childish things.

"why am I here"

I watched her hiding my surprise flawlessly.

"I'd like to know as well. But, that question is pointless because I've already decided how to make you useful."

"And what exactly would that be?"

Looking into her eyes, I stood

"To be my wife"
