(Y/N) stared at her phone dumbfounded. She held it in her hand as it buzzed and vibrated nonstop. She had been put in a group chat with Ryu, Reiji, Takeo, Shiro, Yukio, and Haruki. While mostly Haruki texted, with the others bickering in between and Shiro occasionally giving his input, (Y/N) had not said anything. She didn't know what to say, she could only think back as to how she was even put in this situation.

Earlier that day ~

(Y/N) had brought out her phone to see if anything was going on since it had just buzzed when a certain silver-eyed brunette took her phone.

"Hey, Haruki, give that back!" (Y/N) yelled at the boy angrily, not wanting to get her phone taken away by one of the teachers because of him.

"(Y/N), I didn't know you had a phone! You should know it's not smart to just take these things out on school grounds willy-nilly." Haruki commented, completely ignoring the girl's plea and holding onto the light device from its corner, causing (Y/N) face to contort into one of worry.

"Okay, got it! Now give my phone back." (Y/N) exclaimed through gritted teeth, and when she tried to jump to grab the phone, Haruki just turned away from her and held the phone up higher.

"Just one second, I'm going to put my number in real quick," Haruki said, stopping in the middle of the hallway with his hands speedily typing across the screen. "There." Haruki handed the phone back to (Y/N), and she looked down to see the message screen and Haruki's name as the contact. He had already sent himself a greeting with an emoji, so he now had (Y/N)'s phone number as well.

Haruki looked at (Y/N) and gave a gigantic grin before he sped off to his own class. Meanwhile (Y/N) just stood in the center of the hallway, looking down at her phone, and trying to process what had just occurred.

Present ~

As it had turned out, Haruki had not only gotten (Y/N)'s phone number, but he had shared it with his five friends. She could hardly read the conversation with the boys constantly texting and typing away. At one point in the night, she had left her phone in her bedroom and left to get some food, and when she returned she had gotten more messages than she probably had received in the last month, even with being in another group chat with Masato, Keshi, Ayako, and Itsumi.

After about an hour of this, with (Y/N) occasionally finding the appropriate time to comment, Haruki suggested that they all hang out. Everyone else agreed that it would be fine, but (Y/N) was a little hesitant. She had never hung out with just boys before, not to mention that all six of them would be there. (Y/N) tried to think of what her parents would have said if she asked them, but to be perfectly honest, they probably would have said no. She didn't know how to answer, so she instead asked where it would be. She had already decided from common sense that she would not go if it was at one of their houses. It's not like she would never consider hanging out with them at one of their homes, but she hardly knew any of these boys, and she had never hung out with any of them before.

They all came to the consensus that they would go to the town square since that was the only place that everyone could agree on. (Y/N) had accepted the invitation to hang out, because after all, she didn't want to come off as rude or that she thought they were bad people. She had also gone to the town square multiple times and knew it fairly well. It was decided that they would all meet up at the arcade at one o'clock on Saturday and (Y/N) had made it clear that she couldn't be gone too long. She still had not told them that her parents were out of town, and she wasn't planning on it. (Y/N) never liked to abuse the freedom she got when her parents went away, and she really hoped she wouldn't get in trouble for anything.

To be completely honest, after (Y/N) had bid farewell to the group chat and got ready for the night, once she sat in her bed, she couldn't really understand why the boys had wanted to hang out so bad. She could understand Yukio and Haruki, maybe even Ryu, but Shiro, Reiji, and Takeo? That just did not add up. It's not that it came off as them hating her, she just never thought that they would want to so full-heartedly hang out after just barely getting to know her. (Y/N) just guessed she would have to wait and see what would happen next with those boys.
