Riley's P.O.V

"Riley?" I heard Auggie come in.

When I heard the door creak open, I quickly wiped away my tears and got up to sit in the bay window. "Aug..." I said, my voice barely a whisper within the sniffles. "Why are you crying?" He asked sitting beside me with worried eyes scanning my face. "I wasn't crying... I was just... Allergies," I said, grabbing a tissue from the night stand hoping he would buy it but he knew me better than that. "Your lying," He said making me freeze. He studied my form and sighed. "Why didn't you tell me?" He asked, a slight pout on his lips. "Tell you what?" I asked trying to keep myself together. "Mom told me that your hurt... I asked her, she told me everything," He continued. Tears formed in my eyes as I watched my little brother. "She said that you used to be so happy... but then something happened and you weren't anymore," He said with a shaky breath. I watched trying hard to keep me from bawling. "All I want to know is... where did my sister go?" He asked as a stray tear rolled down his cheek.

"I'm right here Auggie..." I whispered pecking away the stray tear on my little brother's cheek. "Where have you been?" He chirped, jumping into my arms to hug me.

Happy tears started to flow as all the memories of us came flooding back.
