I almost fell coming in the house a few minutes ago. Good thing I caught myself.

"You good brother." Calvin asked locking the front door behind him.

"Yeah. I'm fine." I replied.

I walk into the living room with Calvin behind me as we sat on the sofa together enjoying the silence.

"So" He looks over to me. "What you wanna do tomorrow?"

"Hmm. Nothing."

" 'Nothing' " he mocked back at me with a mischievous glint in his eyes.

"What do you mean nothing, you act like there's no one in the world that wants to hang with you."

"I mean I can call Vin but he's been busy lately." I say.

"Busy. With what? He's the same age as you what could he be doing that he's too busy to hang with his bosom buddy." He smiles.

"When I called him on the way back home he said something about getting a job at this new tatto shop that just open somewhere in the city." I explain.

"You should call him up and see if he can hang tomorrow."

That does sound like a good idea. A part of me wants to call him and the other part doesn't. I know that he has I lot of things planned this summer and with his anniversary with Ada coming up he's going to running around like a chicken with its head cut off to make her happy this year.

But the more I think about it the more I realize that Vincent and I aren't going to be sixteen year olds forever. Plus he's my best friend and I actually do want to hang with him and see what he's up to.

Well I made up my mind.

"You know what. I will call him."

"There's food in the fridge and snacks in the counter. Its-" Calvin looks down at his phone as Vincent comes out kitchen stuffing his mouth with chips. " twelve o'clock I'll be back home around six."

"Bye brother." I say giving him a hug.

"See you later Cal." Vin says, putting Netflix on the tv.

"Bye kid brother. Bye Vin."

I lock the door and walked over the sofa and sat down.

"Say Vas."

"Hm."

"How you been doing? I haven't heard from you in a while bro."

"Yeah it's been minute. But nothing's going on right now. You know. I'm chilling with Calvin making sure the house is clean and cooking. Since there's no one else except the two of us living here." I explain.

"Oh. Don't you ever wish you had a younger sibling?" Vincent asks me, in wonder.

I ponder carefully about Vincents question.

Hmm. Do I want another sibling. I mean, it does sound nice to have more company for when Calvin works extra hours and I'm home alone. But if there's one thing about myself I would confess is this.

I'm selfish.

I'm a very selfish person sometimes. Even when I don't mean to be.

The idea of having to share my older brother with another sibling is a big no no to me. Plus I enjoy Calvin's company as a friend and brother. I like that it's just the two of us.

"No. I'm very content with the older sibling I already have." I reply.

As the movie played on a sudden notification flash comes from Vins phone.

"Shit." He curses. "They need me at the shop." He hurriedly says while putting on his jean jacket.

"You should come with me."

"Alright, just let me put on my shoes and get my jacket."
