She was back in class.
Her eyelids hurt and her head throbbed.
Her eyes were red and puffy.
He noticed.
The pain hadn't gone away and now she was back.
"What happened?"
He thought she couldn't understand.
"I'm learning Korean."
She paused between words.
"You don't look good."
She blinked.
She leaned her head on her desk.
She slept.
He took two sets of notes.
