Crystal Snow (One Shot)

HIS P.O.V

It's been 3 years since I knew her,  It's been 3 years since I've been watching her from afar. It's been 3 years since I've been attached to her. It's been 3 years since I've become a coward. It's been 3 years since I hid my feelings from her.

"Excuse me Sir, do you want to buy that necklace? Cause you've been looking at it for like 20 minutes now."  I looked at the lady, startled.

I smiled shyly, "no, I'm sorry I'm just thinking about something that I didn't even realize that I spaced out." 

She smiled, nod her head and went inside the store.

I sighed and looked at the necklace again. I badly want to purchase that necklace for her yet I don't have the urge to give it to her.

I turn around to go home and realizing it's almost 25th of December and.... I bet that it will be sold out in any minute and to give it as a gift for their loved ones.

I stopped and shook my head at that thought so I rushed back in to the store and immediately went to the cashier.

"Excuse me, Miss." But the lady didn't heard it.

"Miss, excuse meee." I said, irritated but in a low tone.

"Yes, I'm so so sorry Sir. What can I do for you?"

"I will take that necklace please." I look at the back and pointed the necklace that I was looking a while ago.

The lady nod and smiled, "Thought you wouldn't take it, Sir." She said while smiling and took the necklace at the front. 

"Is it for your girlfriend? She'll be the happiest woman in this City when she receives this." She said as she got back.

"I wish so," I said shyly.

"Ha ha ha, no sir, she will. Ha ha ha. That'll be $2000 sir."

I nod as a yes and took my wallet out and pulled the credit card out and gave it to the lady. The lady took it and typed something on the computer and swiped my credit card beside the computer. As I watched her do her thing, I waited. She took a paper and a pen and gave it to me.

"Sir can you please write down your name and sign here." She said.  I did what I was told and return it back to her.

She gave me the receipt and the paper bag, where the necklace has been put and thanked me as a gratitude. I also did the same and left the store. I was smiling like an idiot as if I am excited, welp I really am. I will just pray to the God that I can give this to her personally. 

I was walking quietly but I was surprised when I saw her walking down towards me. Yes, her.

I froze. The thing that I can't even move any muscle in my body, every step she take is the sweat that falls on my temple. I know it's cold but Why does it feel hot, then?

I feel so numb every time she is around and I hate myself for being like that. I don't know what to do, my head isn't functioning well. Why am I stupid?

I've never been so close to her to the extent that we'll bump to each other. For 3 years I just saw her from afar. For 3 years I've been a stranger to her but gives her gifts like a damn highschool kid with the "secret admirer shits" thingy.

I closed my eyes, yes, in your mind I know I look gay for Pete's sake!

"Okay, breath in breath out. Just stay calm, just act that you don't know her. Okay. Breath, breath. Hoooo" I calmed myself still closing my eyes. Once, I am finally stable I walked as if nothing is happening.
