2. My Dead Flowers

Again today, I'm walking in the rain
Again, an unmistakable sorrow on my face,
Thinking of all the places,
Where I could possibly find solace.

But my thoughts keep wandering back to your lap
My head brushing against the satin you wore.
In the times when you were still here,
I just wanted a little time, just a bit more.

And I want to scream out to the world,
I want to tell them that I love you.
But the society that comes between us,
Doesn't allow mixing of the two blue.

Probably why they all picked guns
Probably why everywhere there's blood.
Probably why I want to grow back young,
To the time when I played in the mud.

I picked up my pen and wrote this,
As I saw your lifeless body laying there
Coz the world ought to know
That what happened wasn't fair.

These flashbacks and these polaroids,
They just won't let me rest.
Coz with you going far away,
So did, from my life, the zest.

Some people may call this trash,
Some of them, may laugh at me.
But I am anyway with a blade in my hand,
Just about to flee...

And as I put the blade deep through my veins,
My thought of you devours
I shut my eyes, think of karma
And blood runs through my dead flowers.
