"I have an idea." I said, my face lighting up.
"And that would be..."
"To go riding! Duh!"
"Fine." I ran back inside. Tasha was somewhere, so I pulled on breeches and a boots.
Soon, Adam, Chase, and myself were in our horse's stalls. Leo was going to borrow a stable horse.
"Uh, guys? I think I'm doing something wrong." Leo called. I peeked over the wood.
"Because, you idiot, the saddle is upside down." I went over and fixed it. "There, better?" He glared at me.
Minutes later we were leisurely walking on a trail.
"No offense, but why do people call you Jean? Those are pants." Leo said.
"It's not J-E-A-N. It's G-E-N-E. And the reason is my dad likes some band and this dude is named Gene so... yeah. Any more questions?" I asked. Leo shook his head. "Okay. See ya suckers." I urged Simba into a trot, then a canter, then full speed gallop. The wind was stinging my face, and I'm pretty sure I swallowed a bug or two, but it was the feeling I loved-the feeling I haven't felt in a long time. I slowed down and then stopped. Those slowpokes were still far far behind. I looked around and realized I was at the vacant felid with only a stream running through the middle of it. I finally say them cantering toward me.
"Couldn't stay away, huh?" I said loud enough. They turned around and said something. Adam and Leo turned around and headed back, then started galloping.
"Hardly. But I'm your ride." Chase said.
"Ride to where?"
"Home!" He turned around and bolted. Crap. I kicked Simba into a gallop and we were soon in the same position. Since Simba is faster then Chase's horse, I caught up with him in no time.
We soon were riding down the dirt road, just talking and laughing. All of a sudden my phone rang.
