Sorry about the super long wait. I was debating on never updating this story but then I saw the amount of reactions on it and I got motivated again. Yet, no ideas on how to work this out, so I changed things up a bit and a few weeks have passed after the last chapter.

Gabriel had been getting therapy to process what happened. At first, he was scared of touch, just a brush on the hand made him panic, now both Sam and Lucifer can kiss him, but not without warning. Surprise kisses scare him.

His mother never picked up when Gabriel called her for help to pay the therapy bills, because for some obnoxious reason the government doesn't believe males can be sexually abused and won't pay. They said 'He probably wanted it.' Lucifer and Sam both put in the bit of money they could miss to help him with the bills, but even then it was incredibly hard.

"The number you have dialed can not be recognized," said the mechanical voice through the speaker of Sam's phone. Gabriel's phone hasn't been working all day and Sam was getting angsty. He hadn't seen the boy in class today because of a therapy session, but usually it would've ended by now. They, meaning Lucifer, Sam and Gabriel were to meet up at Lucifer's place for dinner.

"Are you sure we shouldn't just go to the clinic and see if he's there?" suggested Lucifer, making Sam frown.

"He doesn't want us there," he pointed out, "What if he cross a line?"

"We're worried. He should've been here two hours ago!"

"I know!" Sam snapped, "Why do you think I've been calling him every five minutes? I'm just trying to respect his boundaries and not go to the clinic." Lucifer sighed and nodded his head as he leaned back against the couch.

"You're right," he agreed, "But still." Sam knew Lucifer was right, yet he couldn't bring himself to cross the line. The taller male lay down on the couch, feet dangling over the edge and his head in Lucifer's lap, as the blonde person played with his medium length hair. Only for them to jump up at the sound of Sam's phone.

Unknown number

"Hey, hi, who's this?" asked Sam.

"Hey, Sam it's me." Sam let out a breath of relief. Gabriel. "Sorry, I was out of minutes. But the bus isn't going, so I'm kinda stuck here and it took me forever to find a phone. Could you guys maybe come pick me up?"

"Yeah of course. Where are you?" Gabriel gave him the address and Sam and Lucifer were on their way immediately. The black mustang's engine roared through the streets. It wasn't too far, actually almost walking distance, but Gabriel wouldn't go near that park. He would always avoid it by at least three blocks over. He just couldn't bring himself to actually go there.

The two males found Gabriel beside a Starbucks near the clinic, holding a lollipop between his lips, or... There's smoke coming from the tip. Is that a cigarette?

"Since when do you smoke?" asked Lucifer as he approached the boy, making him jump, quickly throw the cigarette to the ground and put it out with his shoe. Gabriel grinned sheepishly.

"I don't, but the woman who's phone I borrowed offered so why the heck not?" Gabriel shrugged. Sam frowned, not believing a word he said while Lucifer didn't seem to be bothered. Well, he smokes too so of course he wouldn't care if Gabe did. "Anyway, thanks for picking me up, those busses are shit."

And so, the three went back to Lucifer's apartment, now set to be lived in by as well Gabriel as Lucifer. The boy didn't seem comfortable alone at campus anymore so Lucifer made space for him, and now he wouldn't have to worry about walking through the park whenever he had class. Lucifer could bring him. The teachers seemed suspicious of why Lucifer and Gabriel were hanging out, but Lucifer told them of being long lost adopted brothers and they backed off.
