Epilogue
5:00 AM
Paul woke up early. Not the usual crappy monday morning he always had a few years back.
As his eyes adjusted to his surroundings, he sees the golden ceiling and sat down. A room themed in red and gold. Fit for a king. Well not really a king but a king in his industry.
Aaaaah. His new life. He thinks that he will never adjust to this kind of living.
He looks at his left. Saw someone sleeping soundly beside him.
A beautiful woman with skin as white as snow and a hair so black. Sounds like Snow White huh? But nope.
He kisses her quietly on her forehead. Suddenly her eyes met his eyes. The woman smiled.
“Good Morning Mrs. Louise Gibson-Walters.”
She smiled.
Yes. The woman who helped him a lot before became his wife.
They were working together for 3 years and he was on his peak of fame when they felt the “spark” between them.
“Aaaaah I love my name more and more everyday with your surname on it. Good Morning my love.”
She sat down and gave him a morning kiss.
“Anyways, why are you up so early?”
“Nah just wanna stare at you forever.”
“Don't you know that it is unrespectful to stare at people?”
“Hey lady, that was my line way back!”
They both laughed.
Paul stared at her a few more seconds. Everything flashes back like it was just yesterday.
“What? Why are you staring at me like that?”
“Have I ever said Thank you?”
“For what?”
“For everything. Me working, and now you.. as my wife.”
“A million times already love.”
“Really?”
“We've been married for almost 2 years now okay?”
“Wow. Seems like that it was just yesterday.”
“Yeah, what time is it anyway?”
“Almost 6, why?”
“Oh my, is our little Jacob awake already?”
“Jacob who?”
“Ha ha. Very funny...”
“Oh our son!”
“You'll get used to it, don't worry.”
She kisses him and goes to the other room to get their little son. Jacob Louie Walters.
She carries him to the living room, placed him on a high chair, fed and played him.
Paul was on the sofa, staring on his 2 precious love. I guess there will be always a happy ending to every sad story.
