In the middle of a cold winter, in this land of brew,
This country which I referred as my home even before I was two;
After more than a year of seemingly wishing in blue,
Surprisingly, I was given a chance to be here with you.
You'll never believe when I first heard the news,
My heart seemed to burst with excitement and hues;
At last, at last, I can show this special place to you.
To you, the girl who made the Philippines feels like home too.
Really, it's like Santa just came and make my wish come true.
I was even literally wondering what good did I do?
Alas, we flew together and now will spend a holiday here or two.
With our own families, like a real bonded crew.
That's why this Christmas I can almost wish no more.
For this feels like a present worth years earning for.
But still, I will stay a nice of a fellow, sure.
For next time I need something more precious than this offer-
That sweetest 'yes' of yours, when I finally ask the 'will you be my girlfriend?' question.
