Happy reading! ☺

The sunset is so beautiful! And the way how its brilliance is being reflected by the sea is just wow!

I did a mental whistle of appreciation as I stare at the magnificent scenery in front of me. Philippines is indeed very beautiful. It amazes me that in every corner you went into, there's always something that really captivates you.

"I will definitely explore the Philippines someday." I whispered quietly to myself. Savoring the serene vibe of the moment.

And then all of a sudden....

"Bwah!"

She came out of the blue and tapped both of my shoulders not so gently in an obvious attempt to suprise me.

My heart almost skipped a bit. Partly because I was indeed surprised by that attack (I honestly thought that I was alone here by myself) but a greater part of that reason is the fact that it was her. It is no doubt that her very presence alone can make me feel alive and jubilant in every single way possible.

"Maymay! You scared me! I thought you're a harraser!" I exclaimed laughingly. It was a joke of course. What I am feeling at the moment is totally the opposite.

"Hala grabe uy! Kriminal? Kriminal?" She uttered almost exaggeratedly while pointing her index finger at her own chest to put some emphasis to her statement.

But I wasn't moved. I find it cutely funny rather. All those wacky facial expressions of her are so priceless that she just earned more guffaws from me.

She didn't say anything. She just stared at me oddly instead.

Napatay na!

Almost four months of living together inside PBB house, I can surely say that she's seriously pissed at me right now.

Napatay na talaga! With that, I decided to swiftly shift gears and try to make peace now.

I smiled widely and say enthusiastically, "Just kidding Maymay."

But she's not buying it. She just spat irritatingly at me.

"Ewan ko sa'yo....hmp!"

Ok not effective Edward, not effective. Let's try the victim card instead. I thought creatively.

"Why are you like that Maymay? I was the victim here! You know, my heart almost jump to the water because of what you did." It was my turn to be dramatic. I tried my best to project the sympathy effect.

"No! I was ano......nevermind." Was all that she said before turning around and started to walk back into our cottage.

"No wait Maymay! Sorry na! Come here!" I shouted but she didn't even look back.

Geez why am I suddenly apologizing now? One moment she's teasing me and then the next she's angry! Girls are definitely weird creatures!

"Maymay!" I called her again. This time I put a tone of authority on my voice. It is because I noticed that it was effective on her. Whenever I do it, she automatically shuts up and listens to what I am saying.

Presto! My hunch was right. I saw that she halted her steps and then quickly turned around to face me.

"What?" She shouted irritatingly.

"Come here, join me. Look at the sunset it's really beautiful. Come here." This time I said the words with sweetness on it.

Come to think of it, I honestly wanted to be with her as I watched the view earlier in the first place, I wanted to be with her while savoring the nice sea salted breeze in this twilight, in fact I wanted to be with her always.

I exhaled in relief as she started to walk back at me. Thank goodness she's not THAT mad.

"Sorry na." I repeated my apology when she's already standing beside me.

"No it's ok." She replied.

"You're not mad?" I asked softly.

"No." She answered.

"Then why did you just suddenly leave? I honestly thought that you're mad at me." I probed.

"Ok I am a little angry because you ano, you always laugh at me. I am not finish speaking then you laugh at me." She explained with matching those adorable hand gestures of her.

"Huh?" A smile started to form on my lips as I reply. She's just so cute that it makes me really want to chortle again. But of course this time I held myself.

"See? You want to laugh again now! I can see it in your face! Pinipigilan mo lang!" She told me frustratingly, putting both of her hands on her waist.

It's because you are so cute! I can't help it!

"Sorry na. I won't laugh anymore I promise." I uttered and then pulled her head gently to rest it on my shoulder.

"Ambot." She whispered and I chuckled.

And then just like that we're good again. When I think about it, it's actually funny. We just had a very childish fight.

Oh well it can't be helped.

We stayed in that position for quite a moment

This feels so nice! I thought gleefully.

Her head is leaning on my shoulders. I could subtly smell the sweet fragrance of her hair. It smells so good along with the sea's December breeze in the afternoon.

If there is indeed heaven, I bet this is what it would feels like to be in there. Everything in this moment is just too perfect. The sunset, the sea and my Maymay. I absolutely couldn't ask for more.
