Narrator's POV
Echo smirked as she walked down the halls of the ship, looking for Predaking. She soon found him on the flight deck. Her smirk grew wide as she walked over to him. "Hello, Predaking." She greeted, looking over the edge of the ship with the mech.
"Give me one good reason why I shouldn't throw you off of this ship right now." Predaking hissed, looking down at the femme.
"Well, other than the fact that I am your queen, I suppose one reason is that if you throw me off, all it takes is the press of a button and one order and you'll be dead." Echo said.
"Press of a button?" Predaking inquired.
"Yes, a button. You see, I'm not just beautiful, dearest Predaking. I'm very smart. During my free time in the past three or four hours, I've successfully planted some clever little devices on every Eradicon and Vehicon as well as Knockout, Starscream, Soundwave, and even Megatron. I won't say where but I have a button that controls all of them and when pressed, every Decepticon will obey my command. Of course, I'd only use this for a few weeks until they accept me as their leader once again but, you get the gist." Echo explained with a shrug.
"You are truly despicable." Predaking hissed.
"Why thank you." Echo said with a smirk. The two were silent for a bit when Predaking suddenly pushed Echo off of the ship. She calmly transformed and flew back to the ship. She transformed and tackled Predaking to the ground.
"Get off of me!" Predaking growled. He pushed Echo away and she got up, wiping imaginary dust from her armor. She placed her servos behind her back struts and started walking to the door leading off of the flight deck.
"I'll be nice this one time. You got lucky, my dear Predaking. Oh, and as for the earlier events of today, I just wanted to mess with you. I'm not an easy fish to catch, Predaking, but you are an extraordinary fisher." Echo said with a smirk at the end.
Predaking was slightly confused at her sentence but shook it off as another trick.
Meanwhile, Echo walked down the halls of the Nemesis, searching for Megatron. "Megsy~" She sang. She then turned a corner and saw Megatron talking to Starscream. "There you are, Megsy. And there's Lieutenant High Heels, how are you doing?" Echo smirked. Starscream growled and lunged at her. The femme was quick and took a step to the side, avoiding his attack. Echo kneeled down next to Starscream who was on the ground and put a digit under his chin, bringing his face plate close to hers.
"Oh, Starscream. Always falling for me." Echo giggled with a closed optic smile.
Starscream grumbled curses under his breath and sneered, "As if I would ever have romantic feelings for anyone like you!" Echo rolled her optics and stood up, holding her servo out to Starscream. Ignoring it, he stood on his own and said, "I am very much capable of standing on my own."
"Anyway..." Echo started, looking over to Megatron.
"What?" Megatron hissed.
"Well, it's almost night and I was wondering....where the frag is my berth room? I mean, where do you expect me to recharge?" Echo spoke.
Suddenly, loud clanks echoed through the halls as someone ran towards the three. It was Knockout. "She can stay with me!" He said, out of breath. Echo, Megatron, and Starscream looked at Knockout with wide optics and looked towards each other before back at the doctor.
"A-Alright then." Echo said. Knockout's breathing evened and he stood up straight.
"I'll lead the way, your majesty~" Knockout purred, walking ahead.
"Bye, Megsy~" Echo said with a smirk, waving to the 'Con, who had a faint blue blush on his face plate. As the two walked, Echo noticed they were walking by the flight deck. "Pardon me, Knockout, but will you excuse me for a quick moment?" Echo spoke.
"Why not?" Knockout replied with a shrug. Echo went onto the flight deck and saw Predaking there.
"Why hello there, darling." Echo greeted with a small smile.
"Why are you here?" Predaking growled.
"I just wanted to tell you that I heard Starscream mumbling about you. I believe he said, 'I don't know why we have such an insolent beast on our team. He was useless as a beast and he's useless now.' Just thought I'd let you know, seeing as you don't like Lieutenant High Heels anyway." Echo lied. Predaking leaned close to her, fists clenched.
"And how do I know you're not lying?" He hissed.
"Because, I hate Starscream as well. And you know what the humans say. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Your enemy is Starscream, my enemy is Starscream, we're friends more or less." Echo explained.
"We are not, nor will we ever be friends." Predaking stated.
"You wound me your highness." Echo stated with a smirk.
"I doubt it." He replied.
"I would ask why you hate me so, but you don't" Echo said.
"I do despise you and you know it." Predaking hissed.
"Oh, Predaking. You're lying. You don't hate me. Quite the opposite really." Echo stated.
"Oh really?" He sneered.
"Yes, really. You just don't want to be seen as soft and caring. No Decepticon wants that and I should know." Echo sighed, her voice softer.
"Why would any being wish to be seen as caring in the middle of a war?" Predaking questioned rhetorically.
"Well, I don't think you're caring or soft. I think you're a big, strong mech who doesn't want to be told what to do." Echo began, walking her servo up Predaking's arm to his shoulder plate. "And as my king, you would have the pleasure of ordering others around." The femme finished, leaning closer to Predaking.
"Step away or I will terminate you." Predaking growled. Echo sighed.
"Will you? Think on it, darling." Echo said, heading for the door. Echo and Knockout headed off to his berthroom.
