Snow! There was snow! I couldn't believe it! There was snow. I watched the tiny and fragile flakes fall from the sky and gather themselves on the ground. I turned to Asher, my unbrushed and horribly ratted brown hair swaying as I did. He was doing a prideful victory smile at his work. I grinned wildly and jumped to hug him, taking him by surprise as he let out of a grunt before laughing. "Glad I could please!"
I smiled and broke the hug, watching as the idiots in the coven were like cavemen. They would take turns stepping outside and going back in. After a while of acting like monkeys they finally got the hang of it and began to play around.
I taught them how to make snow angles and have snowball fights. But that was just...unexplainable really.I smiled and laid down in the snow. "Okay, just do exactly as I." I said as I began to move my arms and legs closed and open. Then I quickly jumped up and away from the angel, feeling important as everyone stared at the shape in awe.
However that feeling of helpfulness instantly turned to confusion as they tried and ended up with a perfect circle. "How...?" I murmured, watching as they did the same thing I did and ended with a circle.
"Just let them do their thing." Alex said, walking up behind me and putting a hand on my shoulder, a warm smile placed on her lips.
"B-But they're doing it all wrong!" I groaned.
Alex snorted. "Don't get so worked up. So what? They're having fun, aren't they?"
I sighed and nodded.
"Then just relax and let yourself have fun as well." She calmly said and walked away.I nodded to myself and ran back over to everyone. Time to show them snowball fights! How can you mess up a snowball fight? All you do is throw snow at other people! They're good at hurting others, so I was sure they could do it right.
Nope.
I began to make my fort by shaping snow like bricks and stacking them atop each other. After I'd shown them that--which they excelled at by building what they had no idea were a bunch of igloos. At least they didn't screw that one up. I laughed as I hid behind my fort and threw snowballs at people. But I was struck in the face with a snowball the size of my own head. After all that, we all went inside and sat down to watch the play.
Alex was Scrooge, a man named James was Cratchit, Asher was tiny Tim and Fred, we'd gotten Mason to be Marley by telling him all he had to do was yell at Alex, Violet was the ghost of Christmas past, Rose was the ghost giant of Christmas present, and Amber was the ghost of Christmas yet to come. It was a great performance, and in the end I had a lot of fun. Everything played out just well.
