Merry Christmas!

I am so sorry. I ran out of time so bad these past few weeks! I know, I should make time... but hey I have to shovel almost every ten minutes! Cut me some slack! Anyways... I'm sorry so here's a chapter to repay all of you

Alex-

I had tried everything to wake John up. It was Christmas morning and he was still sleeping. I had jumped on the bed, kicked the bed frame, yelled, banged pots together. Nothing worked, John was out like a light. So, I straddled his sleeping frame, put my hands on either side of his face and started singing as loud as I could,

"YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE, MY ONLY SUNSHINE".

At that my boyfriend's eyes snapped open.

"What the actual fuck!?!?!" He screamed at me.

"You weren't waking up. Merry Christmas!"

"It's only 6 in the goddamn morning! Let me sleep!"

" No. This is my first actual Christmas with presents and people who care about me so get your lazy ass out of bed"

"Alexander Hamilton. I. Need. Sleep."

"John Laurens. You are a dick. Get out of bed"

"Fine", he huffed. I grinned in triumph.

"I'm calling Laffy Taffy. I refuse to suffer through this alone," he called from the bedroom.

I just yelled 'okay' then went and sat in front of the tree in anxious anticipation. I heard John's soft footsteps, followed by him saying,

" Laf, please? I can't deal with an over excited Alexander with wrapping paper and presents. Pleaseeee???" He hung up.

"The squad'll be here in under 10 minutes," he yawned. John and Alex sat enjoying each other's company in the soft light of the Christmas tree lights. Then the squad came through the door.

"Hey fam" said peggy draping herself across the couch. Laf just sat on her, Angie, Maria and Eliza sitting on the floor. Hurc closed the door and walked over and sat right next to the tree.

Angie passed out all the gifts.

"John to peggy!" She announced. Peggy pulled out a yellow pineapple onesie.

"OMG JOHN YOU ARE MY BEST FRIEND!" she screamed. We all laughed. Maria excused herself to go get us all eggnog while Eliza started making pancakes.

"Hey John, I love you," I whispered in his ear. John giggled and kissed me on the cheek, I blushed.

Hurc-

Today was the day. I was going to ask my dear sweet Laffy Taffy to get married to me. I eventually mustered up the courage.

It was 7 a.m.

Deep breath in

And out

"Hey Laffy, mind if I talk to you for just a second?" I asked my soon to be fiance.

"Yeah Hurc?" I tugged his hand until we were in the kitchen.

"Well um... I've been meaning to... I mean... I can't freaking do this". I got down on one knee and pulled out the ring.

"Lafayette. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me. I have no clue who the hell I would be if not for you, I can't think of anyone I would rather spend my life with than you, so... will you?" I didn't even have time to finish my sentence before Laf pulled me into a deep kiss.

"oui" , he whispered after he pulled away. By now everyone was watching.

"Well shit," I heard Maria say. Everyone turned to her.

"I don't want to steal your spotlight but.." She turned to Liza and held out a ring. Eliza just nodded. Her mouth open slightly.

"Wow. BEST CHRISTMAS EVER!" screamed Alex. waking John who had fallen asleep on his shoulder.

Thomas Jefferson soon walked in with a tired looking Madison and a whole bunch of coffees.

"Merry Christmas!" He said sliding the coffees onto the counter.

Soon enough everyone was sitting on the floor just talking, then Alexander stood up and ran out the door. Eliza smiled, Angelica looked very pleased and Peggy was drinking coffee.

Alex then came back with a large wrapped up box and put it down in front of John.

John looked very suspicious until he finally got it opened. It was a turtle.

"OMG ALEX I LOVE YOU", screamed john picking up the turtle.

"It's name is Phillip", he stated before taking the tank to his room.

3rd person

Later that night as John was getting ready for bed he couldn't help but think what a wonderful Christmas it had been. Alex and John fell asleep as happy as could be.
