Ch. 4 | Malia

How dare they? Dimitri isn't some wild animal to be caged.

"Mason, let me in," I growled at him and he shook his head.

"No can do, Sister. It's for your own good." His eyes bore into mine, challenging me.

Well, Brother, challenge accepted.

"Let me in," I stated firmly.

"Malia--"

"Shut the fuck up and let me in!" I sneered.

"If you just--" He didn't get his words out, because right then, I grabbed on to his neck and swiftly threw him aside. I glared at him, while he sat up giving me a look that said 'what the hell?'

"Sorry, Mason," I told him. "He's my mate." With that said, I walked into the cellroom and instantly, saw Dimitri sitting in the corner of his cell.

"Dimitri," I breathed out and walked to the front of his cell. He looked up and his eyes widened, with happiness.

"Mate," he smirked as he got up and walked over to me. He stood on the other side of the cell, while I was on the outside. To say I was pissed about the barrier, was an understatement.

"When are you going to learn my name?" I groaned out and stepped back, away from the cell.

"When I feel like it," Dimitri shrugged.

"You know, I could just leave," I challenged.

"But, you won't." He grinned. He's using the mate bond thing against me. That idiot.

I smirked. "Watch me," I said, turning on my heel and I started to walk away.

3... 2...

"Wait," Dimitri called out and I smiled, triumphantly. I turned back around on my heel. He sighed, in contentment as I walked back to his cell. "So, what am I supposed to do in here?"

"My question is, how did you get here?" I countered.

"Looking for you," he said and instantly, I smiled, but I covered it just as quickly.

"Why?" I asked.

"My father wanted you to meet my aunt," he said, narrowing his eyes.

"Something tells me your aunt isn't a nice person," I observed, bluntly.

"She's worse than my father and she has a temper," he told me and I tensed up.

"Oh, great." I smiled, sarcastically. "A big ray of sunshine, then."

"Totally," he chuckled. "You still haven't told me what I'm supposed to do in here," he noticed and I sighed.

"Wait until I convince my dad to let you out,"  I explained. Then, I grinned. "After I relish in this moment." I scanned Dimitri up and down. "A vampire in a cage..." I muttered. "How... Promising," I gave a sarcastic smile and he glared at me.

"I swear, Malia, if you decide to keep me in here-- AH!" I had squirted a water bottle at him, that was full of vervain. His skin sizzled as he clutched his face, until it healed. He gave me a death glare, as he took a deep breath in. "Malia..." he growled out.

I smirked. "Hey, I'm just taking advantage of this facinating moment." I put the bottle back on the table I found it on and smiled sweetly. "I'll be back, Mate," I imitated him and walked out.

"Dammit, Malia!" I heard him growl, when I had walked out. Closing the door behind me, I see Mason, glaring at me.

Before I could say something, he cut me off. "I'm not letting him out."
