T A E H Y U N G ;

"Yah-" Jeongguk knocked the back of my head, cereal still in my mouth. I coughed and sputtered as i choked on the cereal. Jeongguk sat in front of me as he waited for my coughing fit to simmer down.

I glared at him, "I'm older than you, a little respect?", as I wiped my chin and the table of the milk that dripped and splattered along the mahogany table top. He just shrugged as I rolled my eyes, folding up the now milk-soggy tissue.

"I want to break up wi- hey! where are you going?" he asked as I huffed in annoyance, pushing my chair in as I walked away without a word.

"don't you dare come to me for advice on breaking up with whats-her-face, I'm not giving it to you."  I turned back around to meet his startled expression, his face falling into anger.

"What? Scared I'm going to take away Minseo?" He spat as he refused to make eye contact with me. I froze, raising an eyebrow.

"What if I was?" I challenged and he laughed under his breath, scoffing as his eyes trailed the room.

"Why can't you just help me, why are you so difficult?" he smiled to himself as he looked down, despite my face being blank.

"I'm not letting you hurt Minseo once you try getting back together with her, you're the one that broke her heart, not the other way around. Plus, shes my girlfriend now,at least shes with someone that can treat her like she should be."

Jeongguk's face furrowed in confusion, before realisation visibly overcame him, and he slammed his veined hands on the table.

"Well what the hell was I supposed to do? I wasn't allowed around her, so that's that! I wasn't ignoring her, I was keeping her safe!"

I chuckled at the naive nature that was showing behind his words, and he narrowed his eyes as I mocked him.

"What's your idea of keeping her safe, Jeongguk? Did you think she'd feel real protected if she found out the boy she liked was fucking some side hoe behind her back?"

He shrunk in his seat, eyes falling down as he sighed to himself. I chewed the inside of my lip as I waited for an answer, and when I didn't get one, I walked away with a scoff knowing I was right.
