The next morning, I am woken by the sound of a convoy of trucks outside my window. I sleepily stand up and wander to the window. I pull the curtains back and a large yawn escapes me. There is a line of moving trucks along the street, stopping outside the neighbouring house. The other window in my room faces the window in the top room of that house, so I know for a fact it's been empty since I got here. Seems like a new family is moving in.

A dark car pulls up in front of the moving vans and the family steps out. They walk quickly to the door as if they are in a hurry, but I manage to get a quick look at them. They all have dark, curly hair except for the mother, whose hair is chestnut coloured. From what I could see there were two sons, one about my age and one a few years older. The youngest wore reflective sunglasses the hid most of his face. They all disappear into the house, leaving me curious. It all seems very mysterious.

I pull the curtains closed again and get dressed for the day, choosing some black tights and an oversized jumper that resembles a football jersey. After brushing my hair into a messy bun I can't resist peeking through my window into the room opposite mine, next door, just to see who is moving in there. The curtains are wide open and I don't know whether to be relieved or surprised when I catch a glance of the kid, the one who looks my age. He's taken his sunglasses off and at this distance I can see his angular face, framed by his long curling hair. To be perfectly honest, he's kinda cute. Suddenly he turns around and we lock eyes. I blush slightly and lift my hand to wave at him, but the boy just stares in horror before quickly slamming the curtains across the glass.

Finn's POV
I stare at the curtains, breathing heavily. We just moved house and already I might have ruined it. As an internationally known celebrity, I have to be careful about letting new neighbours see me, until I know that they won't broadcast my address to the entire world. But I forgot to shut the curtains when looking at my new room, and I didn't realise that the girl in the house next door had seen me. When we locked eyes, she blushed, which made me think she recognised me. What if she puts it on Facebook or something? At least she doesn't have a photo. Or maybe she took one while I was facing the other way? I take a deep breath. She may not have even got a good look at me. Plus she looked nice, and responsible. And actually quite pretty. But that's not the point. From now on I'll have to keep a low profile until I find out if I can trust her.

Grace's POV
I stare across to the boy's room in confusion. He looked so scared at the fact that I had seen him. What is up with this family? So secretive. Maybe they're vampires or something. I skip downstairs to breakfast, by far my favourite part of the day. Marianne is an amazing cook. Each day I've been given something new and delicious for breakfast and today doesn't disappoint. It's something called French Bread, which is just normal bread thats been soaked in a mixture of egg, cream and other spices, and fried. It sounds disgusting but it's actually really good. I still don't get how it's French though.
Will and Nick have left early for some practice or another again, so it's just Emma that comes into school with me. By now I've memorised the route to get to my testing classroom, so I get there with no trouble.
