JUNE'S POV

I woke up feeling extremely cheerful. Sure my back was sore from sleeping on a pull out couch and Kriss's snoring woke me up and 5:47am but that didn't matter. Yesterday had been amazing. The memories of my walk with Benedict danced through my mind and it made me feel like I was on top of the world. All I wanted to do was go to him room and see what other adventures he wanted to do today. I had to physically stop myself from doing so though. I knew there was no way Benedict would be up before 6am.

I decided to take out my sketch book since I had nothing better to do. I flipped through my most recent pages and smiled. They were all of Benedict. Maybe I was acting like a crazy fangirl but the man really was beautiful! And those cheekbones were one on my favorite things to draw. Time flew by as I started another sketch of the beautiful man. I truly thought it was one of the best drawings I had ever done. I drew him leaning on the brick wall outside of the hotel. His gaze was looking down and he had a large smile across his face. He looked at peace, which was my favorite way to imagine him.

A chirp from my phone snapped me out of my daze. My cheeks turned bright red when I realized what I was doing. I suddenly felt very creepy for drawing him. I closed my sketchbook and shoved it under my pillow before grabbing my phone. It was a text. I typed in my password and gasped when I saw who it was from.

My dad.

Hello Pumpkin! How long has it been since we last spoke? 2 years!? I just wanted to let you know that I'm in town and would love to have a visit. Text me and we can make plans. Luv-Dad

I felt giddy as soon as I finished reading the text. It was a rare occasion when I got to see my dad, so I had to saviour it when I could. I really loved spending time with him. Things were awkward between us while I was growing up, but we got passed that. We actually bonded quite a lot during Wess and mine's break up. My heart sank when I realized I wasn't in town.

I couldn't miss an opportunity to see my dad! Plus it would only be a 3 hour drive back. But could I really leave? What if something happened with Wess's condition? Would Kriss be angry with me for leaving her at a time like this? I looked at the time and it was now 7:30. More appropriate timing for waking Kriss up and talking.

Waking Kriss up was no easy task. You had to treat her like a wild animal. You could get scratched or bitten at any second. Thankfully over the years of us living together I learnt a very effective method. I went to the bathroom and filled the ice bucket with freezing cold water. I tiptoed back over to the bed and help my breath. I mentally prepared myself for the beast I was about to unleash and dumped the water all over her head.

Kriss started screaming instantly. She sat up flailing her arms and shooting out curse words that would make a sailor blush. I couldn't help but laugh as her face got redder and redder.

"What is wrong with you June?! I swear to god I am doing decapitate you!"

I couldn't even respond to her threats because I was laughing so hard. She just rolled her eyes.

"Now that I'm awake I mind as well take a shower. I'll kick your ass after." She threw her soggy blankets onto me and sauntered over to the bathroom. When the bathroom lock clicked I decided to get dressed as well. I changed into a pair of yellow high wasted shorts and tucked my white long sleeved shirt with a duck on it into that. I also slipped on a pair of my red toms. Seeing as Kriss was still in the shower I decided to put some effort into my hair today and straighten it. By the time Kriss came out of the bathroom I had been done for 20 minutes.

"You going to tell me why you felt the need to wake me up at 7:30am?!" Kriss was practically screaming. She was changing all of her bedding so that she could lay back in her bed.
